This year the Total Energies 24hr of Spa will play host to Round 3 of the Fanatec Esports GT Pro Series where real drivers will compete for points in the Endurance Cup, however, the weekend will also host a second virtual race wherein SRO Esports' best sim racers will go head-to-head on location at the Fanatec Arena. The competition will be run on the Assetto Corsa Competizione (PC) simulation developed by Kunos Simulazioni. The event is organised by SRO Motorsports Group & AK Esports in order to create an incredibly competitive event capable of promoting Esports racing. The organiser reserves the right to edit the regulations at any time. Any changes to the regulations will be communicated to all the drivers via the established channels.
The competition will be held on-site in the Fanatec Arena at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, participants will be required to travel to the circuit on the 30th of July 2022. Those unable to travel to the circuit will not be eligible to compete.
The competition is open to drivers from any region, however, drivers will be required to manage their own travel & accommodation. Food & beverage vouchers for the weekend will be provided free of charge by the organiser for each participant.
A “Driver” is any participant who has registered through the official website during the registration window or is nominated by a manufacturer to represent them. Participants must meet the following requirements in their entirety to be eligible to participate in the event.
Participants who do not meet these requirements will be deemed ineligible for the competition and removed from the list of Drivers. The organiser reserves the right to investigate a Driver's information when eligibility is in question. Drivers should be prepared to provide a copy of personal identification or other applicable documents to verify if all the requirements are met.
The competition will host a maximum of 24 Drivers on the 30th of July 2022. Of these 24 Drivers, 7 are reserved for manufacturer representatives, 2 are reserved for invitational wildcards and 1 is reserved for the on-site qualifier at the Fanatec Arena on the 30th of July 2022 between 10:00 - 16:00 CEST. This means that the remaining 14 spots are available via the online qualification of the competition.
The Pre-Qualifying phase for the competition will be run on SimGrid from the 7th of July 2022 at 12:00 CEST to the 14th of July 2022 at 12:00 CEST, you can register for the competition on their website here:

Participants will be required to partake in a Pre-Qualifying stage, this stage will be used to determine the Drivers that have the right to participate at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on the 30th of July 2022 for the on-site event in the Fanatec Arena.
The Pre-Qualifying will be run as a hot-lap qualifying event. Each participant will be required to set hot-laps on the official Pre-Qualifying server running the Spa-Francorchamps circuit within Assetto Corsa Competizione.
The best 10 lap times you set will be used to create an average lap time which will be placed on a public leaderboard. The top 14 participants will be selected to compete within the total of 24 competitors attending the event, pending documentation approval and travel & accommodation booking.
There will be a maximum limit of 3 Drivers per manufacturer within the series, this means that once we reach 3 Drivers representing a single manufacturer we will no longer select Drivers from the leaderboard that have qualified under that manufacturer, even if they qualified within the Top 14 participants on the leaderboard.
In addition to this, there are some manufacturers that have official representatives for this event & the wildcards that have been invited to attend, thus, some manufacturers may only have 1 or 2 spots remaining for Drivers to fill. The current representation means the following manufacturers have limited spots available:
The organiser has the right to change these maximums within the competition at any moment during the Pre-Qualifying stage and is allowed to increase the total number of qualified Drivers at the end of the Pre-Qualifying stage if necessary as well. Invitational wildcards & on-site qualifiers are exempt from the manufacturer maximums.
The organiser reserves the right to apply a custom Manufacturer Balance of Performance. The Pre-Qualifying & Event will use a custom Balance of Performance. This is applied as follows;
This may be changed by the organiser at any point before or during Pre-Qualifying and at any point up to just before Qualifying.
