COACH DAVE TIME ATTACK TERMS & CONDITIONS
The protection of the dignity of the individual involved in Sim Racing is a fundamental construct of the Coach Dave Time Attack series. The specific rules for the behaviour of drivers and teams (and their associates) in the Coach Dave Time Attack series are as follows;
- Prize Money
- The prize pool for the Coach Dave Time Attack is $1000 USD.
- The prize pool will be split between the Top 3 drivers in the Finale event held on June 30th 2022.
- All prize money winning drivers will be contacted via Discord and requested to provide payment details in order to receive their prize money - either via PayPal or a Bank Transfer.
- SimGrid may request an invoice. If requested, an invoice must be submitted before any prize money can be paid.
- SimGrid will pay out all owed prize money within 30 days of the championship ending, providing all payment details have been provided.
- Logo Placement.
- 1 x “SimGrid” Logo must be present on the doors of the competing car. It should be visible for broadcast purposes and thus of a reasonable size.
- 1 x “Coach Dave Time Attack” Logo must be present on the rear wing endplates of the competing car. It should be visible for broadcast purposes and thus of a reasonable size.
- The Series Organisers will be available for contact by drivers, whereby there is a need for clarification or reviewal of logo placement.
- Interview Rules.
- Drivers must be prepared to interview if an interview is requested by the Series Organiser.
- Drivers may be requested to attend an interview at any time - except during any of the active qualifying sessions.
- Drivers who qualify for the Finale as the fastest driver of the week must be prepared to come onto the live stream and talk through a recording of their lap.
- Drivers are reminded that all race interviews are broadcast live, and thus all; Offensive/Unsportsmanlike and defamatory comments made during interviews may be penalised.
- Telemetry & Replays
- It is mandatory that drivers record telemetry on all their laps set in the Coach Dave Time Attack series.
- Failure to record and provide telemetry if requested by the Series Organiser will result in disqualification.
- All drivers must save the replay of the session they do their best lap time in.
- The fastest driver from each week must submit both the replay file of their fastest lap and the telemetry to SimGrid.
- Failure to submit the replay file and telemetry files will result in disqualification.
- Social Media Conduct
- Drivers posting negative, disruptive and/or brand-damaging content on social media about the following may result in the driver being disqualified from the series:
- Coach Dave Time Attack
- Race Administration, Stewards or any series staff.
- Assetto Corsa Competizione (In the sphere of the Coach Dave Time Attack Series)
- Fellow Teams & Drivers of the series.
- Any faults of Game Software/Broadcast Failure or similar, pertaining to the Coach Dave Time Attack championship.
- General Conduct
- All drivers are expected to respect the rights, dignity and worth of all competition participants, regardless of; Ability, Gender, Cultural Background or any factor that may lead to discrimination. Some key points that are reflected in the rules but are especially important are;
- Do not bully or conduct unsportsmanlike behaviour to other competitors.
- Verbal Abuse, Provocation or aggression towards other competitors or Series Organisers are explicitly forbidden and will result in penalties and/or disqualification.
- In the event that you disagree with a decision of Race Control, please use the official channels to communicate with Series Organisers.
