Overview
Welcome to the DRL North America championship! We are a relaxed sim
racing community that emphasizes discussion and friendly attitude, where
beginners and veterans alike can race together, improve, banter, and -
most importantly - have fun with a hobby we all share!
You need to be verified on our Discord to be able to participate in this league, so please join the DRL Discord server and make sure you follow instructions in #readme-and-rules to get the correct role. This requires an SA of at least 50.
If the grid is full, we will remove unverified drivers to make space for those on the waitlist who have been verified.
Server details

The server will restart an hour before the (first) quali session.
During the week prior to the race, the server will be used as a practice
server with settings comparable to those during the race.
The server is located in US East coast. Anyone is welcome to
participate but we do require your ping to be sufficiently good to not
lead to dangerous lagging for other drivers.
Format
The championship consists of 6 races across ACC tracks. Qualifying
starts at 8PM ET / 5PM PT. The server will be restarted one hour before
qualifying with a 1 hour practice session. Throughout the week prior to
each race, a practice server is available with weather and time settings
that are used on the race weekend.
The races well be held according to the following formats
Sprint
- 20 minute qualifying (10 minutes for GT3 then 10 minutes for M2)
- 60 minute race with a mandatory stop for fuel (fixed 25 seconds stop). Whether you change tires is up to you.
Super sprint
- 15 minute qualifying for race 1 (7 minutes for GT3 then 8 minutes for M2)
- 30 minute race 1
- 15 minute qualifying for race 2 (7 minutes for GT3 then 8 minutes for M2)
- 30 minute race 2
Multi-class
This season we will allow both GT3 and M2 sign-ups. Multi-classes require even more respect and attention than the usual racing, and in particular penalties for failure to respect cars in the other class will be heavily penalized: it's up to the faster GT3 to make a safe overtake and the M2 driver does not have to yield the racing line under blue flags, though they obviously cannot defend.
If you are relatively new to ACC or league racing, we highly recommend signing up for the M2 class; these cars are more forgiving and allow you to learn the fundamentals of racing, while at the same allowing for closer battling.
