DISCORD
Formula Racing League is managed via Discord. As well as pre race briefings and incident tickets, you’ll find a large group of like minded race enthusiasts to converse with and an experienced team of friendly admins to help you into the wonderful world of sim racing.
LICENCE
A FRL licence is mandatory to run in ANY of FRL’s events. Details on how to do this will be made available to you on joining discord. It only takes 15/20 minutes. If you have any questions contact a league admin for support. Please note you cannot fail your licence. This just helps us tier you correctly for fun, competitive racing!
ATTENDANCE
You will be expected to attend at least 4 of the 6 races and must have an attendance ratio of 40% to enter.
FRL also uses a discord CHECK IN SYSTEM. This is MANDATORY to use if you wish to race as we will use this to set a forced entry list to allow reserves the chance to race!
NO CHECK IN = NO RACE
Check in closes 24h before race start.
No shows carry a 10 point penalty per race (that’s 20 per round). If you no show twice without withdrawing on SimGrid you will be automatically removed from the series with no rejoin to make space for those willing to race regularly!
RULES
We expect everyone to behave in a friendly and courteous manner whilst on discord as well as on track. We appreciate everyone is different and may have different notifications but FRL prides itself on being sim racing at its very best and want to foster an open, inclusive and fun environment for all. Along with the expected track etiquette (which can be found on our discord server) we take a no tolerance approach to bullying, abuse, harassment or any other discriminatory behaviour. Please respect this at all times and you will always be welcome!
