Rules
The Offical Formula Racing League Rule book can be found at
https://frl.deadman.be/showthread.php?tid=4 and is publicly available at any time.
There is also a supporting steward’s guide which is available on FRL Discord.
It is expected all drivers to their best to avoid contact with other cars on circuit at all times.
FRL LICENCE
FRL uses a specially designed licence & tiering system to match up similarly paced drivers in offical events.
A FRL licence is mandatory for regular season events. This takes 5 minutes of your time (unless you have never driven in ACC before).
Full details on how to do this are available on FRL Discord
This event is an off season special event therefore the licence is optional on this occasion.
It is recommended that you apply for one to get the most out of the most followed community on SimGrid
Simgrid
All participating drivers MUST follow FRL on SimGrid. This is non negotiable and drivers will be removed if they do not.
Discord
All Pre and Post race communication happens via Discord. It is mandatory that you are a member of FRL Discord for this reason.
Reading the pre race briefing & Participation in any stewards enquiry is mandatory. If involved in a stewards enquiry, please avoid any personal attacks on others and address the steward only. They’re only doing the job and everyone is a volunteer.
Formula Racing League takes a strict zero tolerance approach to abuse, hate speech, bullying or harassment of any nature.
We understand things can get heated and stressful when sim racing but you never truly know what’s going on in someone’s head. If you take it to the DMs, again please be respectful. Play nice 🙂
You don’t need to be talkative or social but you’ll see why FRL really is Sim Racing At Its Very Best if you do.
