NOOBS "R" US - Intermediate Challenge
ABOUT US
Noobs “R” Us is a community of sim racers who are passionate about improving their skills and learning from each other. Our league is available to all levels of experience, from beginners who are just starting out to more experienced drivers who want to improve their skills. As a beginner-friendly community, we offer a supportive environment where new drivers can learn the basics of sim racing and get started on their journey to becoming better racers. Our members are always happy to share their knowledge and experience with others, whether it's providing tips on driving techniques, helping with setups, or answering general questions about sim racing.
OVERVIEW
This series is open to all drivers. However, it recommended that drivers new to sim racing should complete at least one NRU Rookie Series before attempting the GT3 Intermediate Challenge. Drivers will either pick PRO or INT. There will be no new signups allowed for the final race.
**Throughout the week leading up to a race, our staff will be hosting guided practice sessions, and post-race reviews to discuss incidents. Our goal is to improve everyone’s experience and driving ability on ACC. Although it’s not required, you are encouraged to partake in these events throughout the week.**
REGISTRATION
This series is free to enter, and always will be.
Everyone who registers must join the Noobs "R" Us community discord, as this is where all communications, event and server information, and driver's briefings will be held. Once you are registered you are guaranteed a spot for the event. However, registered drivers not in our discord may be removed before the event start. If the series is not full, drivers may continue to join even after the beginning of the series.
Please choose the split that you believe you belong in, and expect to be manually moved to a more appropriate split after approximately 2 races.
RACE SCHEDULES
The practice server will be available 24/7 leading up to the race. Driver's briefing will begin at approximately 2:45pm US Eastern.
**Race 8 is worth double points**
TRACKS
The race tracks for the Intermediate Challenge will be randomized each season.
LIVE STREAMING
We will be broadcasting all of these races at https://twitch.tv/noobsrus_official
STEWARDING
There will be post-race stewarding. Incidents will need to be submitted through our discord channel. Stewards will review them, and apply penalties as necessary. You have 24 hours after the event ends to report your incidents. More info on this can be found in the race rules.
CAR SELECTION
Drivers may select from any of the GT3's and can not change cars once the season begins.
CUSTOM LIVERIES
We know there are those who work hard to make amazing liveries for their cars, so we will allow custom liveries to be uploaded to our PitSync. Any profanity or nudity will not be tolerated.
