1) Championship Points
1.1 The ACC VGTR Championship driver's title shall be awarded to the driver who has the highest number of points overall
1.2 Points will be awarded by the following scale:
1st - 25 points
2nd - 18 points
3rd - 15 points
4th - 12 points
5th - 10 points
6th - 8 points
7th - 6 points
8th - 4 points
9th - 2 points
10th - 1 point
In addition to the scale above, the driver with the fastest valid laptime of the race will receive one championship point.
2) Race Confirmation
2.1 Every driver must confirm or cancel their booking for the event in time for the event
2.2 A driver cannot change their car 1 day prior of the race weekend
2.3 If a problem arises about the confirmation, talk to a moderator or the owner
3) Liveries
3.1 Drivers may create and upload your own livery if they:
a) do not have any inappropriate images/words
b) comply with the Assetto Corsa Competizione file format
c) do not create excessive lag on the server
4) Damaged Cars
4.1 If a driver severely damages their car, they must get off the racing line and preferably off the track as quick as possible.
4.2 If a driver teleports to the pits during the race, they are retired and will be counted as DNF in the result table
4.3 Drivers can teleport to pits during practice and qualifying sessions but cannot teleport to the pits during the race see article 4.2
5) Track Limits
5.1 Track limits are the default, built into Assetto Corsa Competizione
5.2 You get 3 warnings for exceeding track limits, and the 4th occurrence will result in a drive-through penalty.
6) Qualifying
6.1 All qualifying sessions will run for 15 minutes, where drivers can set fastest laps for a chance to start higher up in the race
6.2 Drivers must not impede others during qualifying.
6.3 All drivers must stay out of the way when another driver is on a flying lap.
7) Penalty Points
7.1 Penalty points may be assigned to those who break rules accordingly.
7.2 In most cases, the driver will receive 1-2 penalty points per incident with 5 being the most.
7.3 If you receive 18 penalty points in one season, you are disqualified for the next event.
7.4 Penalty points are assigned by the following scale:
a). If a driver teleports to the pits during the race, they are retired and will be counted as DNF in the result table. If they, however, continue driving, it will be counted as DSQ. Furthermore, the competitor will receive 2 penalty points. See article 4.2
b) If a competitor impedes on a lap of another competitor, they will receive 1 penalty point. See article 6.2
c) If a competitor ignores blue flags (Failing to let the faster car through in 4 corners), they will receive 1 penalty point.
d) A. If a competitor causes a minor collision, they will receive 2 penalty points. Furthermore, the stewards may award a time-penalty.
e) B. If a competitor causes a major collision, they will receive 5 penalty points. Furthermore, the stewards may award a time-penalty, disqualification, or a 1 race ban.
f) If a competitor is weaving more than once, they will receive 1 penalty point. Furthermore, the stewards may award a time-penalty.
g) If a competitor leaves the track and gains a lasting advantage or position, if they do not give back the position within 2 laps, they will receive 3 penalty points. Furthermore, the stewards may award a time-penalty.
h) If a competitor crosses the white line on pit exit, they will receive 1 penalty point.
i) If a yellow flag is shown in the sector a competitor is driving in, the driver must drive with caution. If they continue with regular pace and get involved in an incident, they will receive 1 penalty point, furthermore, the other articles are still being enforced.
j) Unsafe driving – Will be decided by the stewards
k) Use of in-game chat - 1 penalty point and 15 second time-penalty
l) Unsportsmanlike conduct – Will be decided by the stewards
8) Pit stops
8.1 When entering the pit, all drivers must slow down to the pit limit.
8.2 While in the pitlane, all drivers must have their pit limiter ON and must not speed.
8.3 When exiting the pits, do not cross the white line and check if a quicker car is approaching.
8.4 A pitstop for fuel is mandatory, with a minimum amount of 1L. If this is ignored you will be disqualified.
9) Flags
9.1 A yellow flag indicates that there is a possible hazard on track, like a crash or a car stranded on the circuit. If a yellow flag is shown in the sector a competitor is driving in, the driver must drive with caution.
9.2 A blue flag indicates a faster car approaching behind the driver. If a blue flag is show to a driver, they must safely get out of the way and let the car behind through. If a driver fails to do so in 4 turns, they will be awarded 1 penalty point. see article 7.2
9.3 A white flag indicates a slow car ahead. If a white flag is shown in the sector that a competitor is driving in, they must drive with caution (no slowing down is required).
10) Race start, Race finish
10.1 A rolling start procedure will start in the beginning of the race. Drivers must follow the indicator on their screen, if they fail to do so, the game will reward them with a drive through penalty.
10.2 When the clock hits 00:00, the race is NOT over. The race is only over when you cross the finish line on the last lap.
11) Stewarding
11.1 Competitors have the right to request a review of an incident, this request must be filed in the dedicated hours after the race
11.2 The period in which reports can be filed is open 12 hours after the server opened, with the closing time being 26 hours after the session ended.
11.3 The stewards can note and investigate any incident during the weekend.
11.4 The stewards have the right to call the drivers to a meeting.
11.5 Competitors have the right of a second review of the incident. However, new significant and relevant evidence must be delivered.
11.2 If a steward is involved in an incident in any way, they will not be allowed to discuss with other stewards in the post-race meeting about the incident. They will also not be allowed to vote.
11.3 The stewards decide their result by voting, if 50% or more is in favor, the result will be posted.
12) Balance of performance
12.1 The Balance of performance (BOP), is the one provided by the game, thus there is a possibility of it changing at any time.
12.2 There will be a success ballast given to the top 3 finishers. After every race the ballast will be calculated for the next sessions. The amount can be changed at any time. The amount is specified in 12.3
12.3 The way ballast in which applied is:
P1 - 25 KG
P2 - 18 KG
P3 - 15 KG
13) Pre-season qualifying
13.1 Every driver must participate in the pre-season qualifier.
13.2 The splits will be decided based upon the pre-season qualifier.
13.3 A driver will be switched splits based upon their results.
14) Chat rules
14.1 The use of the in-game chat is prohibited during the race
15) Weather
