FRL - THE GARAGE - SEASON 1
This is a new concept for a simracing event, that will hopefully bring more diversity, challenges, strategy and fun to all our simracing friends and the Assetto Corsa community.
Basically the main new element is the fact that during the championship, drivers will not only compete for points, but also for virtual currency called Punterinos, which will allow them to buy multiple cars IN THE ":CAR SHOP", and give them a shot at out racing their friends.
THESE ARE THE MAIN POINTS OF "THE GARAGE":
1. After signign up, all players receive a drivers account which will be credited with virtuall cash in the amount of 500 Punterinos.
2. There will be a CAR SHOP available to drivers, where they will be able to buy the cars of their choice and dreams:)
3. The starting amount of punterinos, will only allow you to buy the cars from the STARTER PACK, which will be the slowest ones in the shop, and those are the cars that all drivers will be forced to use in the first race.
4. All cars will be divided in four CAR CLASSES: The Starter Cars, and Class A,B,C cars where with each class the cars will become better, faster and more capable to obtain good lap times on the NORDSCHLEIFE track. Obviously the better the class of the cars the higher will be the price.
5. After each round, drivers will be awarded points like in all other simracing events,in a classic scheme where the higher the finishing position the more points you get.
6. Additionally players will receive virtuall cash(punterinos), which will be awarded in an opposite scheme, where the fastest drivers will receive the least amount of cash, and the slowest drivers will get the most. This mechanism is designed to allow the slower drivers earn some more cash early and have a chance to compete with their faster friends.
7. All the cars bought buy a player during the championship, will be stored at "THE GARAGE" and will be available for them to use in any race.
This is a TEST event of a new system, so please keep in mind that things might not go as planned, some rules might be added or changed and ideas might develop during the time of the championship. But this also means that we would love to hear your opinions and ideas during this time, which will help us improve this system for future events.
