- Unique Points System:
We have encountered the difficulty of filling all classes and making the race interesting for everyone. It is especially frustrating when you are alone in a class or together with a significantly stronger/weaker driver. No intrigue, no fight. As much as you want to continue participating, something like this can be a turn off. So we have come up with and will be testing a new system. In it, all classes compete with each other, and the winner of the championship will be one single team. How it works: If there are more than 10 cars in a class in a race, then points are awarded according to the usual scheme: higher position - more points. If there are fewer cars in a class, then points are awarded based on, for lack of a better name, consistency coefficient. Briefly: you make laps, Race Control records them, including information about your position, weather, track conditions, incidents, pit stops. There are about 20 parameters in total. Based on them, a “reference” lap is calculated and compared with yours. According to the final coefficient, you receive points - from 0 to 100 (this is equivalent to 1st place) + bonuses for the number of incidents. However, the final position does not limit the points. In short: if you drive fast and clean, you get good points. If you drive slow, you won't earn much (even if you're the only one in the class), no matter what final position you got. No winners in the classes. Only one team wins in the whole championship, points are common to all classes. And registration doesn't limit you to classes and cars - drive a different one every race if you want. It sounds complicated, and it is. It will take some time to calibrate, but in the end it should brighten up the lives of lonely enjoyers of unpopular cars, bring them back into the fight and enjoy multiclassing.
