Multi-Class Racing & Blue Flags:

Multi-class racing is awesome, but the Nordschleife is a track where working together is vital. In general the rulebook 'blue flag'-rules will also apply here. But in multi-class the speed differences are bigger, so you may have to act faster and always be aware.

As a general rule of thumb:

  • Ensure you have your indicators (yes even you BMW drivers) mapped;
  • Ensure you have your flasher mapped;
  • As a backmarker indicate in the direction YOU are going to move;
  • As a frontrunner you can flash a backmarker ONCE to make him aware;
  • As a slower car don't make sudden direction changes / stick to the racing line if the faster car can make a move or make sure its obvious where you are going to let the faster car (indicate/move/run wide);
  • As a faster car don't force a move. Be patient and only overtake once the opportunity is presented in a safe manner.

Teams are encouraged to report bad behaviour from lapping- and blue flagged cars. These will be dealt with by the stewards.

Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask them in our Discord channel.
