GT2 Sprint Cup

• Full formation start lap.
• Drivers must maintain position during formation lap, NO OVERTAKING DURING FORMATION LAP UNTIL THE GREEN LIGHTS !
• The leader must travel between 70 and 115 kmph, No Formation lap widget will be active, so be aware of your starting position and no overtaking on the formation lap.
• Incorrect position will result in a penalty post-race.
• Race Length 45 Mins / Enduro round 90mins - Practice 15 Mins
• The weather will be variable during the series.
• Expect the rain, Heat, Night and everything in between.
• The prologue race is to select your car, you will have until 18th May to lock in your decision, Once chosen this will be your car & No changes will be allowed, Drivers won’t be able to enter the server unless the correct car is selected!
• All cars will have BOP applied.
• Drivers must complete 1x mandatory pit stop during the race for refueling, a tire change is optional.
• All drivers must use the aggressive tune, ONLY changes that can be made are: PSI, ABS, TC, FUEL, TIRES [ BRAKE DUCTS ON THE AUDI ].

General Etiquette.

1. Pre-Race Etiquette:

   • Punctuality: Arrive at the event well before the scheduled time. Attend all briefings and calls.
   • Sim Setup: Ensure your sim setup and rig are ready to go. Update your racing software beforehand.
   • Practice Sessions: Use practice sessions to get familiar with the car and track. Focus on your preparations without hindering others.

2. On-Track Behavior:

   • Clean Racing: Avoid excessive blocking and collisions. Respect other drivers’ space.
   • Overtaking: Be patient and choose safe overtaking opportunities.
   • Defending: Defend your position fairly without aggressive moves.
   • Blue Flags: If you’re being lapped, hold your line.

Remember, politeness and discipline go a long way in fostering camaraderie within the sim racing community. Enjoy the thrill of racing while respecting others!

Race Penalties and warnings. 

Admin / Stewards will have the following available to use for any incidents on track. 

• Warnings.
• Time penalties.
• Race position penalties.
• Points deductions.
• Grid drop for the next race.
• Pit lane start for next the race.
• Ballast &/Or power restrictor. 
• License points, Max of 8 results in Race ban. Minor = 1, Major = 4. (1 clean race removes 2 license points.) 
• Race ban.
• Removal from the championship.

Racing Rules. 

• Qualifying - Round 1 is a random grid, round 2 onwards is reverse grid based off championship standings. 
• Pits are open for repairs at all times and races,
• 1x mandatory pit for refueling during the race, tires optional.
• Blue flags - Driver being overtaken is to hold their line and faster driver to find the way past. Slower car is NOT to defend. 
• Obey the pit entry and exit lines, as well as the speed limit on pit road. 
• DO NOT TAKE OUT THE PIT ENTRY SPEED LIMIT SIGN OR BRAKE MARKERS, DELIBRITE ACTION WILL RESULT IN A PENALTY APPLIED.
