Incident Limit: Each driver is allowed a maximum of 17 incidents throughout the race. This limit is subject to adjustment as we approach the start date, ensuring fair and competitive racing.
Racing Rules:
- Starts: Rolling or standing starts may be used, as specified for each race.
- Track Limits: Respect track limits as defined by iRacing. Cutting corners or gaining an advantage by going off-track is strictly prohibited.
- Overtaking: Make clean and fair overtakes, respecting the racing line of other drivers. Avoid contact whenever possible.
- Blue Flags: Respect blue flags when being lapped. Yield the racing line to faster cars safely and without hindering their progress.
- Incident Responsibility: If involved in an incident, wait for a safe opportunity to rejoin the track without impeding other drivers.
- Defensive Driving: Defending your position is allowed, but excessive weaving or blocking is not permitted.
- Pit Stops: Follow iRacing's pit lane rules and speed limits. Pit stops for fuel and tires are allowed during the race.
- Communications: Use appropriate communication channels for league-related discussions. Respectful and sportsmanlike conduct is expected at all times.
- Penalties: Race officials may assign penalties for rule infractions, such as drive-throughs or time penalties. These will be communicated clearly.
- Race Restarts: In the event of a major incident or technical issue affecting the majority of drivers, race officials may decide on a restart.
- Post-Race: After the race, refrain from engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct, including aggressive messaging or behavior towards other drivers.
These rules are designed to ensure fair competition, respectful racing, and an enjoyable experience for all participants. Violations of these rules may result in penalties or disqualification from the race. Remember, good sportsmanship and clean racing make for an exciting and rewarding league for everyone involved.
