Saturday Night 2 Hour Special

Hosted by SuperBaked Racing ACC • XP on Crossplay Followers Only

Welcome to the SuperBaked Racing league! We're a league dedicated to sportsmanship & community building. Each member will be expected to comply with these guidelines, and treat other members in a respectful, fair, and courteous manner. Demeaning, embarrassing, derogatory, bullying, retaliatory, or disrespectful language or actions are not allowed in any session, on the Discord server, or in Discord direct messages.

The most important thing I'd like everyone to remember: We are not professional drivers. We have varying skills levels, with a common goal to improve as a group. As we improve, so will the quality of racing here. Be patient with one another.

  1. Keep racing clean & respectful at all times. This does not mean you can't race hard, this means you must be in control of your car. This is meant to be fun, don't ruin it for someone else.
  2. The overtaking driver is responsible for making a clean, safe overtake. Marshals will award a “Careless Driving” penalty in cases a move has been attempted with little chance of success or without consideration for the driver affected in case of an “extreme dive bomb”, “unsafe” rejoin, or driving into an incident without throttling down/braking, etc.
  3. Entering a turn, the passing driver must at least get their front wheels even with the rear wheels of the car they are passing before the point of turn-in, to have earned the right to a racing lane. At this point the driver being passed is responsible to leave a lane open.
  4. Bump-passing is not allowed and may be subject to penalty unless the offending driver gives back the pass, even if it occurred accidentally. Bump-passing is defined as the passing driver nudging the car ahead to make it unstable, then passing it while the passed driver is recovering control.
  5. Blocking is not allowed for any reason. Blocking is defined as altering the race line more than once in reaction to another driver in an attempt to prevent a pass. This is also referred to as "the one move rule". On a straight, a defending driver has the right to suddenly change direction, even using the entire track width if they are fully ahead of the attacking driver. Sudden changes of direction just before or within the braking zone are not permitted.
  6. Incidents may happen. We will do our best to review all incidents & find a reasonable outcome. If you're involved in an incident & would like it reviewed, please submit it to incident reporting on discord  & talk to a race steward . (An incident is defined as at least two cars making contact with one of them being forced off track, turned, spun, or damaged)
  7. Retaliatory behaviour on track will not be tolerated. Take a deep breath & get on with your race. Leave it for the marshals to review. Intentional conscious contact with another car will be penalized.
  8. Drivers must follow instructions from race control. If a car leaves the track, it is their responsibility to re-enter safely. If you have left the track, or are stopped in a risky position, it is wise to let the other drivers know. (Example: "I've spun & I'm stopped on track in corner 3"). If you spin, HOLD YOUR BRAKES. You will be held responsible for any incidents resulting from a failure to lock brakes during a spin.
  9. Blue flags: they are advisory only, slow/lapped drivers do not have to pull aside, they can stay on their line. A blue-flagged driver is not allowed to defend their track position against the lapping car - they should stay on their line. Intentionally holding up or defending against a lapping car may result in penalties. Drivers about to be lapped have to behave in a predictable way without sudden changes of direction or track position. Lapped drivers are allowed to unlap themselves as long as they can pull away after passing the driver that has a lap advantage.
  10. Keep communications during a race, related to the race. Too much talking is distracting to drivers, and may prevent an important message from being heard.
