Drivers are expected to race in a clean, safe, and respectful manner
Contact between drivers should be avoided at all costs. Bump drafting is permitted except in ACC where it results in a rating penalty.
In the event where contact is made forcing another driver wide, off track, or causing an unsafe overtake; the driver who initiated contact should concede the position at the nearest and safest location on track
Drivers are required to keep two (2) wheels on track at all times. Curbs are considered part of the track

New drivers will be placed based on their Grid Rating.
New drivers will have a 2 race period where they are evaluated and may be moved to a different division if they are clearly in the incorrect division
Drivers will be scored in whatever division they are placed
Driver points will be adjusted if they are required to move divisions
New drivers are allowed to use any car from the season car list.
If there are too many drivers in a division already, any new drivers will be placed on a reserve driver list.

Practice is not required so drivers may show up at any time during practice
Drivers should follow good racing etiquette during practice

At the end of the countdown timer following practice the lobby will automatically reset
Once the lobby resets, drivers may enter the track whenever they please
Drivers are expected to not hold up any other driver out on the track qualifying
Drivers are required to maintain a qualifying “pace” during the session. Staying in low gear trying to burn extra fuel thus slowing down your pace where other drivers need to avoid you is not permitted
Drivers who are Blue Flagged or have otherwise invalidated their lap are expected to move off the racing line for cars on a valid hot lap
Pits will remain open during the qualifying session
Once the fifteen minute qualifying session is complete drivers may finish their lap they are on and all times will be finalized
6.5 RACE:
There will be a ten (10) minute break between qualifying and race start which will include the Driver’s Briefing
Drivers are required to join the Discord voice chat and mute themselves for the Driver’s Briefing
Drivers who do not join the Driver’s Briefing will be assessed a post-race penalty
Drivers should get their race setup in place and be ready to select drive at 30 seconds. Failure to enter the track in time will result in a start from the pits
Failure to race respectfully and failure to follow the driving etiquette guidelines may result in a penalty
Most races will start with a full guided formation lap ending in a double-file rolling start
If the lobby crashes prior to reaching the halfway point of the race the drivers enter a new lobby and start from a formation lap in the previous race order as best as possible. If the lobby crashes after reaching the halfway point, drivers will be scored based on their position and fast lap times at the point of disconnection as best as possible
Drivers who quit during a race will be issued a “did not finish” (DNF) designation and points will not be awarded.
Drivers who disconnect due to a network error during the race will be awarded last place points.
Flag Rules:
Under Yellow Flag drivers should slow and approach with caution. There is no overtaking under Yellow and if you do overtake in a Yellow zone you are expected to give the position back. If you fail to give the position back a penalty may be incurred
Under Blue Flag drivers should continue to run the racing line. Drivers should not battle the overtaking car and should give way if the faster car has a run on them. If moving out of the way, Blue Flagged drivers should signal their intent, move off the racing line, and lift off the throttle to allow the faster car through
6.6 INCIDENT REPORTING
All on track incidents are expected to be reported on SimGrid within 26 hours of the race for review

Any and all incidents or on track behavior that any driver feels is unnecessary should be submitted for review
Incidents will first be sent for a peer review to a group of fellow drivers that have volunteered to be race stewards
After a peer review the findings will be sent to Race Direction for a decision on whether any sort of penalty should be enforced
