Stewarding Rules and Penalties Provided in Discord
We will be following SRO Esports guidelines for live stewarding. Please see quoted rules below:
PENALTIES
When there is an incident between two or more cars the stewarding team will review the incident and determine who was at fault or if neither driver was to blame. The list of penalties below is a loose guideline on what you should expect for specific incidents however the stewarding team reserve the right to heighten a penalty if necessary.
● Racing Incident - An incident where no single driver can be deemed wholly or predominantly at fault, or incidents caused by minor misjudgements or mitigating circumstances.
● No Further Action - When the offending driver is believed to have punished themselves due to the incident or hasn’t gained any advantage over their opponent.
● Warning - Avoidable contact that incurs a minor loss of time, can also be applied to unnecessarily aggressive overtakes for position.
● 5-second Penalty - Avoidable contact that results in a small amount of time lost.
● 10-second Penalty - Avoidable contact that results in loss of position.
● 15-second Penalty - Significant contact that results in loss of position or time loss.
● 30-second Penalty - Major avoidable contact that results in a multiple positions lost or a large amount of time.
● Stop & Go 20 - Major avoidable contact that results in multiple cars being involved through no fault of their own.
● Stop & Go 30 - Major avoidable contact that results in more than 3 cars being involved through no fault of their own.
