Velocity International Racing League, in Partnership with Gravel Trap Social Club, Presents: The GT4 Sprint Series
Overview:
Velocity International Racing League is a Host born from the XBOX community at Slipstream International. We have partnered with Gravel Trap Social Club to provide a GT4 Sprint Series that brings our two communities together to fight for bragging rights across 8 rounds. This GT4 Sprint Series will run 30 minute races with standard timed Qualifying. We will also be running a custom BoP from LFM!
With crossplay dropped, we are excited to welcome our PS5 sim racing family to Velocity! This is our dip into the crossplay championships, with more GT3 and GT2 series planned for our Season 3 calendar later this year!
Event Structure:
Races will take place at 9PM EDT on Tuesdays, starting January 30, 2024. Server will be reset promptly at 9PM to start official practice, but will be open to all participants one week in advance.
- Practice: 15 min
- Qualifying: 10 min
- Race: 30 Min
- Time of Day: 3PM
- Ambient: Varies
- Weather: Varies
This series will have 2 drop rounds. Your best 6 results will be counted toward your season points total.
Car swaps will be allowed until the start of Round 4.
Assists:
- All tiers will have the maximum stability control setting to 0. All other assists are allowed to be used.
Regions:
- Our Assetto Corsa Competizione Xbox event runs at a time that enables North American drivers to compete.
Stewarding:
- Our Discord incident reporting functionality will be used for after-the-race reporting, with a window of 24 hours.
- The stewards can and will hand out penalties without reports if they deem it appropriate and necessary
