Pro League Racing present to you: Beginners Cup - Season 1!
A Cup designed for sim-racing newbies and AM-class drivers ONLY. Input from Pro and Silver drivers at PLR to help you improve while racing with people at a similar pace without worrying about being lapped!
Cup being restricted to AM drivers only, please only join if you are indeed a sim beginner/amateur. Don't worry, we have plenty of events for you aliens too!
This series will be run every other week on Sundays - please join the Pro League Racing Discord as this is the main Point of Contact for drivers!
SIGN UP PROCESS
First-come-first-serve event. Register quickly to secure your space on the grid. Once the grid is full, you can register as a reserve and then take any available grid slots should drivers drop out or be absent.
EVENT FORMAT
FP1: 30MINS - Q1: 10MINS - RACE 1: 20MINS
FP2: 5MINS - Q2: 10MINS - RACE 2: 20MINS
EVENT TIMETABLE
Practice - 20:30 CEST
Qualifying - 21:00 CEST
Race - 21:10 CEST
Practice - 21:30 CEST
Qualifying - 21:35 CEST
Race - 21:45 CEST
PIT STOPS
There will be no mandatory pit stops for this event.
TYRE SETS
All cars will be limited to 6 tyre sets for the entire event. 1 set for each session, Practice, Qualifying and the Race.
STEWARDING
There is no live stewarding for any split at this event. Any live stewarding is subject to people volunteering their time to provide the service to the drivers.
However, we will have post-race stewarding using the Protest Forms channel on discord.
RULES
CUSTOM LIVERIES
The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this event, but please bear in mind that they are not officially supported by the game developers and their use can induce significant lag for the user. To avoid the significant lag that custom liveries bring, we suggest that drivers run the livery but without the .png file. Do not run the liveries of other drivers under any circumstances.
WITHDRAW AND RESERVES
If you are signed up but then unavailable to attend, please click manage registration and then click leave event so that your slot will be given to the first listed reserve driver.
