BoX³ Formula 1600

BOX³ MOTORSPORTS PRESENTS: iracing season 1 - Formula 1600! 

a fun fixed-setup Friday NIght series based almost entirely on free content including the car of the season the Ray FF1600! one DLC track (mid-ohio) IS being used this season.

(NOTE: Formula Vee is being used as a placeholder here on SimGrid for sign-ups as there is no option to select the FF1600 currently)

THIS SEASON WILL FEATURE 7 RACES ACROSS A WIDE VARIETY OF CIRCUITS.

weather for each session will be generated and in-game dates will be set to reflect actual race dates each week. in-game Time will vary from week to week to include morning, afternoon and sunset sessions.

EACH DRIVERS ONE (1) LOWEST SCORING ROUND WILL BE DROPPED to allow for those without the mid-ohio track to still compete for the championship

RACE FORMATS

Practice:

20 minute practice session

qualifying:

10 minutes - 2 laps - moderate scruitiny 

races:

Races will be either 20 or 30 minutes rotating weekly. There will be two (2) fast repairs available and unlimited tire sets to use.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

PRACTICE - 8:00PM EST

DRIVERS MEETING (IN-GAME CHAT) - 8:10PM EST

QUALIFYING - 8:20PM EST

RACE - 8:30PM est

RESERVE DRIVERS

IT WILL BE STATED IN THE DISCORD ON THE DAY OF THE RACE IF RESERVES NEED TO WAIT TO JOIN THE SERVER, BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF DRIVERS ATTENDING THE RACE.

CAR SELECTION

We will be racing exclusivly in the Ray FF1600 openwheel formula car using a fixed iracing setup for each track.

OUR RACE RULES CAN BE FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE, BEING IN OUR DISCORD IS ALSO MANDATORY FOR COMMUNICATION. INCIDENTS CAN BE REPORTED AFTER THE RACE IN THE 'ADMIN' SECTION ON SIMGRID.  WE WELCOME DRIVERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS, AS LONG AS THEY DRIVE CLEANLY ON TRACK.
