On the 15th July 2020, Kunos released the highly anticipated, but now under-appreciated GT4 DLC. To celebrate the anniversary of the release of this DLC, we are taking the GT4s to a land down under for a race at Mount Panorama.
We present to you; Mayhem on the Mountain!
44 GT4's, 2 mandatory pit stops and 90 minutes of racing on the mountain - Mayhem is guaranteed...
With three splits available (and the potential for more), you've got your chance to be one of people on the grid to celebrate our anniversary!
First-come-first-serve event. Register quickly to secure your space on the grid. Once the grid is full, you can register as a reserve and then take any available grid slots should drivers drop out or be absent.
The split and class you choose to race in is ultimately your decision, but we want to ensure that drivers are racing where they can be competitive and are of similar experience to those around them. A large gap in pace and experience can cause problems on track. We highly encourage drivers to choose their class and split carefully. Split 1 is generally home to the "aliens" and most experienced sim racers. Those who are several seconds off "alien" pace or newer to ACC are please requested start with the lower splits.
Practice - 20:00 CEST
Drivers Briefing - 20:30 CEST
Qualifying - 20:40 CEST
Race - 21:00 CEST
There will be two mandatory pit stops for this event. Refueling is mandatory at each pit stop. Tyre changes are optional.
All cars will be limited to just 2 tyre sets for the entire event. These 2 sets will have to last Practice, Qualifying and the Race.
There is no guarantee of any live stewarding for any split at this event. Any live stewarding is subject to people volunteering their time to provide the service to the drivers.
However, all splits will have post-race stewarding using the `Protest Forms` channel on discord. Please read the rules to learn about the incident report process, and check out our website guide here for full instructions.
The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this event, but please bear in mind that they are not officially supported by the game developers and their use can induce significant lag for the user. To avoid the significant lag that custom liveries bring, we suggest that drivers run the livery but without the .png file. Do not run the liveries of other drivers under any circumstances.
If you are signed up but then unavailable to attend, please click `manage registration` and then click `leave event` so that your slot will be given to the first listed reserve driver.
