This GT3 class series offers clean racing in a friendly community at both European and Americas-friendly times. Our community welcomes fair and clean competition, and respectful behaviour on AND off track, not a win-at all-costs attitude. We have drivers of different skills, so please remember to leave space and be understanding when things go wrong. We will not tolerate bullying, racism, etc.
Our rules are found in the HFG Discord. To join our events you MUST be a member of our Discord, AND your nickname in Discord MUST contain your SimGrid profile name.
Signups and changes to cars are allowed up to 24 hours before the race (1500 EDT). After that there will be no changes allowed, until after the race is concluded. You are allowed to sign up after the series starts.
Practice - 10 Minutes
Qualifying - 15 Minutes
Race - 60 Minutes
You do not have to join the server at the beginning of practice, just do so before Qualifying begins to avoid causing lag spikes.
Note that the last race in this series takes place after the clocks change. It is taking place at 2000 UTC
There is one mandatory pit stop. Refuelling is enabled. Drivers have 5 tyre sets for each race in the series. The pit window is 10 minutes long.
The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this series. However, the use of these liveries is not officially supported by the game developers. Please be aware that running external custom liveries can induce significant client side lag when another user connects or disconnects.
If you are signed up but then unavailable to attend, please click 'manage registration' and then click 'leave event' so that others can join the championship. If you want to withdraw from a specific race, please click on 'races' and select 'admin" and click 'withdraw.' Penalties will apply if you do not withdraw from a race and then fail to attend.
This series has post-race stewarding. If you feel someone was deliberately not following the rules, go to the race tab on the SimGrid web site, select the race, then select the admin tab, and click on the incident report button. For rude in-game chat, take a screenshot of the chat and submit it to Jacky Harris or Guidot (Jeff) via PM on Discord.
