OVERVIEW
The 90-minute race at Silverstone is an exhilarating endurance event that challenges drivers and teams to showcase their skills and strategic decision-making. Silverstone, located in Northamptonshire, England, is a renowned circuit known for its high-speed corners and demanding layout.
Around the halfway mark, teams execute a meticulously planned driver swap. Pit stops become a hive of activity, as mechanics quickly refuel the cars and change tires while the drivers exchange places. This transition can make or break a team's race, as a smooth driver change and efficient pit stop can gain valuable seconds over competitors.
Once the driver swap is complete, the new driver takes charge, aiming to maintain or improve upon the team's position. The second stint is often characterized by managing tire wear, fuel consumption, and traffic, as the track becomes increasingly rubbered in and challenging. With each lap, the tension mounts as the clock ticks down towards the checkered flag... Will your team come out on top??

REGISTRATION
Teams sizes are 1 driver to 2 drivers.
Entries will be limited to 40 GT3 teams.
To register a team, you will first need to "Create Team" which can be found when you click on your profile, in the top right of your screen. In order to register press "Register Team" where you can register your whole team and choose the car/class you want to race. *All members of the team must be following your team that you create on SimGrid, to add them to the team*
RACE WEEKEND SCHEDULE
- Practice - 12:00 PM UTC
- Driver's Briefing - 12:50 PM UTC
- Qualifying - 13:00 PM UTC
- Race - 13:20 PM UTC
DRIVER'S BREIFING
ONE DRIVER from each teram will need to join the "Driver's Briefing" stage under the "∟⏳ Endurance" category in the ORL Discord, 10 minutes before qualifying starts! During the driver's briefing we will go over some common rules and some things we expect driver to do and how to act on track.
STEWARDING
This race will have live stewards. This means that if you are involved in an incident in the race, you will be able to report it HERE to the stewards during the race and the offender will receive a penalty during the race. All questions about penalties can be asked in the "🟢│silverstone-seat-swap" and you can tag @Stewards, to get an answer about why and for what you were penalized for.

There will be a 50 minute stint timer
There will be NO max drive time
TIRE SWAP IS MANDATORY
CUSTOM LIVERIES
Custom liveries are allowed during the race. We use Awesome-Simracing and you can find this information on how to do this in the ORL Discord under the category "[ 🚘 Driver Resources]" and then the channel "🎨│liveries". You will add it to the collection "ODYSSEY ENDURANCE"
