Detailed information about RaceOnOz League Rules and Driver Etiquette can be found in our Discord Server under the ACC - Rules and Regs category and in the Website Forum. It is expected that prior to participating in any RaceOnOz event that you have read and understood our league rules and regulations, any breaches of these rules and regulations will be handled and treated based on this expectation and applied to this standard.
There is no live stewarding for this series however after the race you can report an incident on Discord using the relevant channels under the ACC - Driving Standards Zone category. Changes from previous seasons: The Trusted Drivers Panel (TDP) will no longer automatically review the entire race. Automatic reviews will now only be focused on the start procedure and the first few corners. Drivers must submit protests or reports for other incidents to be reviewed. Don't wait to see if the TDP is reviewing an incident even if it IS at the start or first few corners. Submit a protest or report anyway so they have all the information. Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed. Please see #help_and_info in the #PC - Driving Standards Zone for detailed information.
If you cannot attend a race you must click the "WITHDRAW" button, this can be found in the Admin tab of the round that you are withdrawing from on the RACES page. Drivers are permitted to withdraw from a maximum of 5 round(s), if you are unable to access SimGrid then it is also acceptable to message one of the league admins prior to the event to notify them so that penalty points can be avoided. If you fail to attend a race without withdrawing prior to the race you will receive a penalty point, if you accumulate 2 of these points you will be automatically disqualified from the championship. If you are looking to leave the championship then you must do so using the MANAGE REGISTRATION which is found on the right side of this page.
This championship has 1 Drop Round. SimGrid will automatically drop a driver's worst round to date and update the standings accordingly.
Ballast will be added to a driver's car based on finishing positions each race:
- Ballast is cumulative and does not expire until the end of the season - Any new ballast is added to a driver's existing ballast up to a maximum of 30kg - In the event that a class winner is also on the overall podium they only receive the class winner ballast
