OVERVIEW
The ORL Endurance Championship is an exhilarating motorsport event that will push drivers to their limits, both physically and mentally, as they battle it out on some of the most iconic race circuits in the world.
The championship spans over multiple rounds, each offering unique challenges and demanding strategies. Drivers will have to showcase their skills in navigating treacherous corners, managing tire wear, and executing flawless pit stops. The competition is fierce, with teams and drivers vying for the prestigious CASH PRIZE POOL.
Throughout the championship, teams will face various race lengths, from 6 hour races, to 8 hour races, to 12 hour races. However, the ultimate test of endurance awaits at the finale—an epic 24-hour race that will push the boundaries of human and machine alike. This grueling marathon event will truly separate the best from the rest, requiring flawless teamwork, strategy, and mental resilience.

REGISTRATION
Teams sizes are 2 drivers to 5 drivers.
Entries will be limited to:
- 40 teams that WILL pay the entry fee, and WILL be eligable for the prize pool
- Wildcard teams, that do NOT pay the entry fee, and are NOT eligable for the prize pool.
Please note: Wildcard teams can sign for for any race they choose, and do not have to register for the whole series.
To register a team, you will first need to "Create Team" which can be found when you click on your profile, in the top right of your screen. In order to register press "Register Team" where you can register your whole team and choose the car/class you want to race. *All members of the team must be following your team that you create on SimGrid, to add them to the team*
RACE WEEKEND SCHEDULE
For 6 & 8 Hour races:
- Practice - 11:00 AM UTC
- Driver's Briefing - 11:50 AM UTC
- Qualifying - 12:00 PM UTC
- Race - 12:20 PM UTC
For 12 & 24 Hour races:
- Practice - 9:00 AM UTC
- Driver's Briefing - 9:50 AM UTC
- Qualifying - 10:00 AM UTC
- Race - 10:20 AM UTC
Driver's Breifing
ONE DRIVER from each teram will need to join the "Driver's Briefing" stage under the "∟⏳ Endurance" category in the ORL Discord, 10 minutes before qualifying starts! During the driver's briefing we will go over some common rules and some things we expect driver to do and how to act on track.
STEWARDING
This championship will have live stewards. This means that if you are involved in an inciddent in the race, you will be able to report it to the stewards during the race and the offender will receive a penalty during the race. Please bare with us for the 12 and 24 hour races, as sometimes the stewards will need to take a break during the races, and penalties will be looked at and applied accordingly. This means that it might be an hour or 2 before someone get penalized on track. All questions about penalties can be asked in the "🟢│orl-endurance-championship" and you can tag @Stewards, to get an answer about why and for what you were penalized for.

There will be a 70 minute stint timer There will be NO max drive time
CUSTOM LIVERIES
Custom liveries are allowed during the race. We use Awesome-Simracing and you can find this information on how to do this in the ORL Discord under the category "[ 🚘 Driver Resources]" and then the channel "🎨│liveries". You will add it to the collection "ORL ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP"
