OVERVIEW
Hello and welcome to Season 9 of the VGTR Sprint Series! We will be bringing you some of the most competitive racing yet, with drivers battling it out for the top spot, with a prize on the line! That's right, a prize for the PRO champion and the AM champion! This season we are partnered with Hsimracing, and they will be providing a prize for champions in both splits! (More information in the discord)
With warmer track temperatures, it's crucial to stay on top of your game and save your tires before they wear fully. In Season 9, we will be continuing the split system to help beginners/slower drivers have a chance to fight for top positions and overall close up the gap between the field by placing them in the appropriate groups! We're also introducing different race lengths to keep things fresh and challenging. So get ready for some heart-pumping, wheel-to-wheel action! Different lengths for the races:
- Brands Hatch - 45 minute sprint (no mandatory pitstop)
- Suzuka - 45 minute sprint (no mandatory pitstop)
- Spa - 90 minutes (mandatory refuel pitstop with a pit window of 15 minutes in the middle of the race)
The rest of the races will be the standard 60 minutes long, and have mandatory refuelling with a pit window of 15 minutes in the middle of the race)
REGISTRATION
This season will have two splits: PRO split AM split When registering for this season you will be able to choose between two options, the PRO split and the AM split! This is under your control, but we can switch you around to the appropriate split if we feel that you are too quick/slow for the current split you are in. On "How to choose a split" refer to the "CHOOSING A SPLIT" part of this page! Please DO NOT pick the incorrect split when signing up, as you will be noticed and moved to the appropriate split (with a possible penalty for how serious the difference was).
Be assured when registering for this league, we will guarantee you a spot in the championship (unless signed up as a reserve driver). If by any chance a driver retires from the championship, a reserve driver will take their place, in the appropriate split.

CHOOSING A SPLIT
This season we will be allowing the drivers to choose their own splits. Obviously that does come with a possible risk of slower drivers in PRO and faster drivers in AM, but we will do everything in our hands to fix those problems if it arises! Below are a set of PRO times that we advise you follow when picking AM or PRO as your class:
- Barcelona: 1:45.7
- Mount Panorama: 2:03.8
- Spa: 2:19.7
- Kyalami: 1:42.9
- Imola: 1:42.9
If you choose the wrong split on purpose, we will not hesitate to move you to the appropriate split with no point compensation, so pick carefully!
SCHEDULE:
- Practice - 16:00 BST (15 minutes)
- Qualifying - 16:15 BST (20 minutes)
- Race - 16:35 BST (45, 60 or 90 minutes, check "OVERVIEW")
PIT STOPS
1 mandatory pitstop will be in place (in the 60 minute and 90 minute races). No mandatory tire change BUT a mandatory refuel + a pit window of 15 minutes in the middle of the race. This means that a mandatory stop will only count if you stop during the open pit window.
STEWARDING
Stewarding will happen after the race via a reporting system on our Discord server.
CUSTOM LIVERIES
Custom liveries are allowed during the race. You can upload them on the discord so everyone can see and use them. The livery cannot have any derogatory or discriminatory stickers otherwise you will be banned.
