The Sim Grid would like to present a short mini-series across the month of June - The Kyalami Series!
This championship will feature 5 races across 3 weeks at the spectacular Kyalami circuit located in South Africa:
Race 1 & 2 - Thursday 3rd June
Race 3 & 4 - Thursday 10th June
Race 5 - Thursday 17th June
Not only will this championship take place at one venue, the first 4 races will see drivers competing in equal machinery (in 30 minute sprint races) to put the emphasis on driver ability through setup and skill!
The final race of the series will be a 75 minute race in GT3 cars using a fully custom BoP. This will ensure that all cars are on similar pace:
Race 1 - Lamborghini Super Trofeo
Race 2 - Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO
Race 3 - Porsche 991 II GT3 Cup
Race 4 - Porsche 718 Cayman GT4
Race 5 - Open GT3 with Custom BoP
This series will have an entry fee of $9 to participate. Registration will open on Thursday 20th May at 17:00 CEST.
When registering you will be asked to choose a car; this will be your choice for Race 5 with Custom BoP.
By paying the entry fee and completing qualifying, you are guaranteed a space.
Qualifying will be used to determine split placement, which will be completed in the BMW M4 GT4 at Kyalami (of course!).
You must set a minimum of 20 valid laps on the qualification server (there is no maximum number). The best 25% of your laps are then averaged and that time is what will be used to determine your place on the leaderboard.
This qualifying will open on Thursday 20th May at 17:00 CEST and close on Wednesday 26th May at 23:00CEST.

Please be aware that running external custom liveries can induce significant client side lag when another user connects or disconnects.
You will be permitted to "sign out" of one race without penalty. To do this, go to the "Races" tab then find the Round in question, once there press the "Admin" tab and "Withdraw".
