Slipstream International Midweek Madness Sprint Series '23 S1
Overview:
All Roads Lead to Spa!
Championship structure:
Slipstream International introduces Slipstream International Midweek Madness Sprint Series. This new weekday series will run on Thursday's @ 9:00pm EDT starting May 4th. This will be a 10-race sprint championship with the 10th event as a double points championship race. The series will run from May 4th through June 29th with the championship race on July 13th.
Drivers will need all the track pack DLC listed below.
- Intercontinental
GT- tracks from America, Africa, Asia, and Australia
- Europe
GT- tracks from central and southern Europe
- East
and West GT- tracks from western and eastern Europe, and UK
Race format:
Each race event features:
- 10 - minute
official practice
- 7 - minute
qualifying (One Shot)
- Followed
by a 30-minute sprint race
- No Pitstops allowed.
- No car swaps after race three (All previous points lost if car swap occurs after race 3)
- Standard point structure with double points for championship race
Weather conditions:
We will run day races with static weather conditions.
- Clear Conditions
- Ambient Temp: 18c
- Track Temp: 23c
Practice server:
The practice server will always be set up one week in advance, after
the completion of each week's race.
Drivers will be notified when the server is set up.
Assists:
- All
tiers will have the maximum stability control setting
to 0. Other than the ones
mentioned here, all assists are allowed to be used.
Regions:
- Our
Assetto Corsa Competizione Xbox championship runs on a very particular
schedule that enables all North American based drivers to compete.
Day/time: Race events will take place on Thursday @ 9pm EDT.
Stewarding and live streaming:
- Simgrid's
incident reporting functionality will be used for after-the-race
reporting, with a window of 24 hours.
- The
stewards can and will hand out penalties without reports if they deem it
appropriate and necessary
- Each driver will have 15 license points. Penalties can add time and/or subtract license points.
- 5 penalty points, the driver won't be able to qualify in the next race
- 10 penalty points, the driver won't be able to race in the next race (no wildcard)
- 15 penalty points, the driver won't be able to race anymore in the season
- After 2 clean races, one point will be removed.
- Points are rolled over for the next World Series season.
