MotorsportUK Esports Hot Lap Challenge -Season 1 Event Terms and Conditions:
Definitions:
Driver(s): means the driver taking part in the Event.
Event:MotorsportUK Esports Hot Lap Challenge -Season 1 being held between 10th ā 30thApril 2023.
Motorsport UK: means Motorsport UK Association Limited (company number01344829) whose registered office address is 141 The Command Works SouthernAvenue, Bicester Heritage, Bicester, England, OX27 8FY.
Organiser: means Motorsport UK.
Stewards: means the judicial body at the Event responsible for ensuringthese Terms and Conditions and driving standards are adhered to during theEvent and to allocate penalties.
1. Introduction
1.1 The Event isorganised and owned by Motorsport UK.
1.2 The Organiserhas the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
1.3 The Organiserhas the right to cancel the Event at any time.
1.4 The Event isan esports time trial which will be held on The SimGrid*.
1.5 The Event isopen to the public, however only entrants that hold a Motorsport UK Esports Paid Membership are eligible to win theprizes. A Motorsport UK Esports Paid Membership can be purchased for thepurposes of this Event no later than 21:00 BST on April 30th 2023.
1.6 Clarification,interpretation and determination of any rules and these terms and conditionsshall be decided by the Organiser.
1.7 By enteringand taking part in the Event you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.
1.8 Drivers arerequired to provide their own hardware and software equipment to compete in theEvent.
1.9 Driver entrieswill be accepted at the sole discretion of the Organisers.
1.10 The quality of the internet connection being used by the Driver tocompete in the Event is the sole responsibility of the Driver. Should anyinternet connection issues result in an unnatural performance of the car theOrganiser will have the right to remove the Driver from the Event and record aDNF result.
1.11 All Drivers must adhere to theMotorsport UK Race with Respect code of conduct which can be found https://www.motorsportuk.org/racewithrespect/ . All Drivers must read this before entering the competition.Breach of this code may lead to expulsion.
2. Registration and Entry2.1 Drivers are required to enter the Event. If the Driver is under theage of 16 a parent and/or guardian must enter on their behalf. The parententrant will must supervise the Driver taking part in the Event if they areunder 16 years.
2.2 Drivers must be over the age of 13.
2.4 Anyentry that is incomplete or which contains offensive material or is otherwisespoiled shall be discarded and or rejected as not complying with these Termsand Conditions and shall be void.
2.5 Driversare permitted to make changes to their car any number of times throughout theEvent.
2.7 The carclasses are as follows:
Ā· GT3 ā All available cars in the ACC title
3. EventDetails
3.1 TheEvent timetable is as follows:
Week 1 Server:10th April 09:00 BST to 16th April 22:00 BST ā Brands Hatch.
Week 2 Server:17th April 09:00 BST to 23rd April 22:00 BST ā Donington Park.
Week 3 Server: 24th April 09:00 BST to 30th April 22:00 BST ā Silverstone Circuit.
3.2 Theweather will be set to static.
3.3 TheEvent Settings are as follows:
Ā· Maximum Car Slots is 40
Ā· Ambient Temperature 15 degrees C
Ā· Track Temperature 21 degrees C
Ā· Time of day in game = 1pm
Ā· The Qualifying session in the server will resetevery 60 minutes throughout the Event weeks
3.4 Drivers can enterthe server as many times as they like throughout each Event week to attempt afastest lap.
4.Stewarding
4.1 TheEvent will be stewarded by Assetto Corsa Competizioneās inbuilt automatedstewarding system however the Organisers will have a number of Stewards on handto spot check Drivers throughout the Event.
5 Scoring
5.1 The Driver with the fastest lap completed at each track will bedeclared the winner.
5.2 The Driver with the fastest combined lap time of the 3weeks/circuits will be declared the winner.
6. Liveries
6.1Custom liveries madeoutside of the game are permitted in this series, but please bear in mind thatthey are not officially supported by the game's developers.
6.2 If a Driver usesany third party logos outside of the original licensed content of the game,they must have written permission from the owner.
6.2 No offensive,politically charged or offensive material in anyway is permitted. If theOrgansier deems a livery to be inappropriate they will be banned from theEvent.
7. Prizes
7.1 Thewinning Driver (who is a Motorsport UK Paid EsportsMembership Holder) at the end of each Event week will receive x2 British GTGeneral Admission tickets to a round of their choice (not including the Algarveround).
7.2 Thewinning overall Driver (who is a Motorsport UK Paid Esports Membership Holder) overthe three weeks will win x4 Hospitality passes to either of the Silverstonerounds of the 2023 British GT Championship plus a ButtKicker Gamer PRO.
7.3 Thesecond place driver overall over the three weeks will win x2 Hospitality passesto either of the Silverstone rounds of the 2023 British GT Championship plus aButtKicker Gamer PRO.
7.4 Thethird place driver overall over the three weeks will win one pair of IMBRacewear V2 NO LIMITSgloves ā fully customisable by the winner
collectivelythe āPrizesā
7.5 Prizescan only be awarded to those Drivers who have a Motorsport UK Motorsport UKEsports Paid Membership.
7.6 ThePrizes cannot be refunded or exchanged for any cash amount nor exchanged forany other goods or services nor can the Prizes be sold or transferred by thewinner to any other legal person.
7.7Delivery of the Prize will be effected in a mannerat the Organisers discretion.
7.8 Thewinner agrees that the Organiser (or any third party nominated by theOrganisers) may in its sole discretion use the winners comments relating to thePrizes and their experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposesin any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid (includingfor the avoidance of doubt when responding to any third party).
8.Broadcasting
8.1 TheEvent will not be broadcast.
8. Conduct
8.1 Driversor Teams posting negative, disruptive and/or brand-damaging content on socialmedia about the following may result in the Team being disqualified from theEvent.
8.2 AllDrivers are expected to respect fellow competitors, the Organiser and anyothers associated with the Event.
8.3Discrimination of any kind; bullying; abusive/aggressive behaviour orunsportsmanlike behaviour will not be tolerated and will lead to penalties ordisqualification from the Event.
8.4 Anyabusive or offence text used in the in game chat function will not be toleratedand will result in a ban from the Event.
9. Data Protection
9.1 TheDriver confirms permission for the Organisers to request and use their personaldata as necessary for the limited purposes of this Event including the publicationof their name and / or likeness where applicable.
9.2 Shouldthe entry include the submission of a third partyās personal data the entrantconfirms they have the permission of that third party to do so and that theseTerms and Conditions have been brought to that personsā attention.
9.3 TheOrganisers may have to share the personal data of any winner and guest withthird parties for the purpose of issuing the Prizes.
