Overview
We are hosting a 45 minute GT4 sprint series on Monday nights at 8PM eastern time, and we'd like to have
you join us!
Everyone who registers for this event must join our community discord server. If you haven't done so already, please follow us here on Sim Grid and join our discord! Follow the steps in the #new_member folder to gain access to the discord features and race information!

- All drivers are to be respectful to each other as close racing is expected.
- Please be mindful that there may be slower drivers and use caution when overtaking.
- If you cause or are involved in an incident, please report it to our stewards in our discord ( #reporting )
- Do not wait after an incident, continue racing and the incident will be reviewed after the race. ( YOU MUST REPORT WITHIN 24HOURS )
Registration
This series is open to 25 drivers of all skill levels. Please signup here on Sim Grid, and join our discord for additional details!
THE EVENT REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 7PM EASTERN TIME ON RACE DAY!
Event Timetable
Sprint Race
- The event server will open at 20:00 Eastern Time*
- Qualifying will start at 21:00 Eastern Time*
- Race will start at approximately 21:15 Eastern Time**
Race Format
- 60 Minute Practice
- 15 Minute Qualifying
- 45 Minute Race
- 1 Mandatory Pit Stop ( TIRES REQUIRED )
- Weather will be random! ( Weather will be locked in on the Sunday prior to the race )
- Temp: 24, Cloud: 0.17, Rain: 0.04, Randomness: 7
- In-game time progression will be set with a random 1-4x time progression
- All events will have a maximum of 10 tire sets
SUCCESS PENALTY
We will be implementing Success Penalties; this will help with the Balance of Performance (BOP) and keep the racing competitive & fair.
- 1st: 30kg
- 2nd: 20kg
- 3rd: 10kg
The ballast weight will continue to accumulate if you are consistently finishing on the podium until max weight is reached. If you continue to be on the podium, we will add extra fuel to your car.
Prizes
There are no prizes planned for this series...
Return To Garage
- Using the Return to Garage (RTG) feature will be allowed during Practice, Qualifying, and Races
- If your car is too damaged or you do now want to continue, please exit the server so it doesn't impede others from using their pit box.
- When using the RTG feature, please make sure you are in a safe place and off the track/racing line so you do not cause an accident with another driver.
Stewarding
There will be post-race stewarding. Waiting after an incident on track WILL NOT BE REQUIRED in any series / championship race for any reason. Please submit all incident reports within 24 hours through our #reporting folder on discord. The stewards will review the footage/information provided after the race, and they will implement penalties if necessary.
Custom Liveries
If you are using a custom livery, please add them to our Awesome Simracing page here: https://alpha.awesome-simracing.com/collection/234.
Keep in mind the game’s developers do not officially support them, and
their use can induce significant latency issues for other drivers, as well
as lag spikes when people join the server. To avoid the considerable
lag that custom liveries can cause, we suggest that drivers/teams run
the livery without the .png file.
Withdraw and Reserves
If you are unavailable to attend the event, head to the “Races” tab, then click on “Admin” and click withdraw. 8 "no-shows" will result in you being disqualified from the series.
