Overview:
The sim racing cup is open to drivers and teams who own Gran Turismo Sport for PlayStation 4 & 5 . Each team will consist of two drivers who will compete in a series of races to determine the winners.
Entry requirements:
All drivers and teams must pay an entry fee to participate in the sim racing cup. Drivers must have a valid PlayStation Plus subscription and a copy of Gran Turismo Sport to be eligible.
Format:
The sim racing cup will consist of three rounds - a qualification round, a semi-final round, and a final round. The qualification round will determine the drivers' and teams' starting positions in the semi-finals. The semi-finals will be made up of several races, with points awarded for each race. The top drivers and teams from the semi-finals will then move on to the final round.
Race rules:
All races will be run using GT3 cars, and all drivers must use the same car throughout the tournament. Each race will be run using the game's default settings. Collisions between drivers will be monitored, and any driver causing an intentional collision will be disqualified.
Scoring:
Points will be awarded to drivers and teams based on their finishing position in each race. The driver or team with the most points at the end of the semi-finals will advance to the final round.
Technical requirements:
All drivers and teams must have a stable internet connection and a PlayStation 4 & 5 with Gran Turismo Sport. Any technical difficulties or network issues experienced during the tournament will not be the responsibility of the organizers.
Fair play:All drivers and teams are expected to compete fairly and within the rules of the tournament. Any cheating or violation of the rules will result in disqualification and possible legal action.
I. General RulesThis is an online sim racing tournament that will be held on Gran Turismo Sport on PlayStation 4 & 5 consoles.
Each team will include two drivers.
The tournament will consist of three rounds: Qualification Round, Semi-Final Round, and Final Round.
II. Qualification RoundAll drivers will participate in the Qualification Round.
There will be a maximum of 12 drivers per qualification run.
No two drivers from the same team will be in the same qualification run.
The top 6 drivers from each qualification run will move on to the Semi-Final Round.
The top 24 drivers from all the qualification runs will qualify for the Semi-Final Round.
III. Semi-Final RoundThe drivers who qualified from the Qualification Round will be divided into two groups.
No two drivers from the same team will be in the same group.
The top 6 drivers from each group will qualify for the Final Round.
IV. Final RoundThe Final Round will consist of the top 12 drivers from the Semi-Final Round.
Two drivers from the same team can race together in the Final Round.
V. DisqualificationAny driver who engages in unsportsmanlike conduct or cheats will be disqualified from the tournament.
The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any driver who violates the rules and regulations of the tournament.
VI. Changes to the RulesThe organizer reserves the right to make changes to the rules and regulations of the tournament.
Any changes to the rules and regulations will be communicated to all participants in advance.
VII. Agreement to Rules and RegulationsAll participants in the tournament agree to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the organizer.
Any violation of the rules and regulations may result in disqualification from the tournament.
