12 hours of Barcelona

Virtual Racing League CZ/SK brings you a twelve-hour endurance race on the circuit in Barcelona. This will be the first endurance race organized by our simracing community and I believe we will all enjoy it together.

Below you will find answers to the most common questions about the race and a list of all the rules.

REGISTRATION:

• The 12-hour race at the Barcelona circuit is a team race only, and you cannot participate like an individual.

• Registration will take place through the SimGrid platform (link)

• There is no entry fee for the race.

• A maximum of 29 teams can register for the race.

• The admin team reserves the right to check the correctness and suitability of registered drivers before the start of the race.

• Registration will be closed on 2nd September, 2023.

Conditions for Participation:

1. Each rider must have a Discord profile and must log into the event on the SimGrid platform.

1. All drivers must have the PS5 version of Assetto Corsa Competizione installed and all DLC for the game too.

1. All drivers must have a PSN ID filled in on their profile on the SimGrid platform, which is required to assign a driver to a race car that will be reported by the team. (Check our Discord server for more information.)

Teams:

1. Each team must consist of a minimum of two drivers and a maximum of four.

1. The roster of drivers can be changed at will before the registration is closed.

2. Maximum of 4 drivers in a team.

3. At least 2 drivers in the team.

1. Each team must be created on the Simgrid platform. (See instructions below for more information)

1. It is at the discretion of the team how many of the registered drivers participate in the race, but the minimum number is two drivers.

1. All drivers of a team will be entered in the server file before the race so that they are

assigned to the team's car.

1. It is the team's duty to check before a race that all drivers have access to the team car, and that driver swaps work as intended.

Cars:

1. All GT3 category cars are allowed for the race.

1. Team livery of the car must be reported via the Discord server, before registration closes on August 5, 2023.

1. After closing the registration, it is not possible to change the reported car without informing and consulting the team of administrators.

RACE:

The race will be held on September 23, 2023. The lobby will be restarted at 11:00 CET. The race day will consist of 60 min of practice, 20 min of qualification, and 720 min (12 h) of the race.
