More Female Racers by Thrustmaster Rockets is a championship series all about getting more female racers into the world of sim racing!
We have two incredible seasons of the series already and the improvement we have seen from the female drivers is fantastic! We have seen new female racers come in to have their first ever experience of sim racing, we have seen those with experience come in and improve and we have seen females teaming up together to become Sim Grid Endurance Cup Split 3 champions and a female driver go on to become SRO Asia AM champion!!
There are two significant changes made to the format for this third season of the championship. Firstly, the series will now see all teams racing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo. By becoming a spec series, this removes any (dis)advantages a team can have through their car selection. The other significant change is that the female driver will get to drive twice as instead of the 60 minute race being split into 2x 30 minute stints, it is now split into 3x 20 minute stints!
Each team requires 1 female driver and 1 co-driver (this can be female or male). As a female driver you can sign up with a co-driver of your choice!
But what if you don’t have a teammate? We have you covered! You can sign up solo to the role relevant to you (female driver or co-driver) and following the qualification process, you will be paired up by the organisers.
*If you’re registering as a solo co-driver to be paired up with a solo female driver, you must meet the requirements specified further down this page.
If you already have a teammate to race with for this series, then you can register straight away. When registering, please select the class titled “PRO”.
1 of the 2 drivers in the team must be female and the female driver must do the qualifying, start and finish at each round.
The co-driver in a premade team is not required to meet the requirements of a solo registered co-driver, it can be anybody of your own choice.
If you are a female driver who does not have a teammate, you can register as a solo female driver. Following the qualification process, you will then get paired up with a co-driver.
As a co-driver in this series, you will be teamed up with one of the female drivers and be their point-of-contact to assist them in improving their driving and race craft. The key to being a co-driver is that you have the experience and understanding of ACC and simracing that can guide the female driver so that they, and your team succeeds.
Being a co-driver does not require hours of your time to provide coaching and practice, it's more about helping your team mate as their point of contact and working together as a team.
To be eligible as a co-driver for this competition, you ideally must have competed in one of the following series;
-Top 2 splits of any Sim Grid championship
-AOR Tier 1
-RCI Invite or Pro splits
Candidates who have not competed in the above series list can still apply to be a co-driver by contacting Michael Hamlet on The Sim Grid discord.
Once you have registered to the series, all drivers will need to set laps on the qualification server. The server will run from Monday 12th April to Monday 19th April (the Meet & Greet Event).
Using the data on the lap times that are set, each driver will be allocated to a class, and then the classes of each driver will be used to determine what class the team races in. As an example, if both drivers were on similar pace and were allocated to Silver class, then the team would race in Silver class. Alternatively, if one driver was ranked as Pro and another as Amateur, then the team would race in the Pro-Am class.

The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this series but please bear in mind that they are not officially supported by the game developers and their use can induce significant lag for the user.
Races will be live streamed on YouTube and custom liveries can be shared in a dedicated channel on discord for the stream broadcaster to run.
Any politically charged or potentially offensive material on a custom livery will see the team banned from the series.
To avoid the significant lag that custom liveries bring, we suggest that drivers run the livery but without the .png file.
