Welcome to Delta Racing League's Second Mini Enduro: The 3 Hours of Oulton Park. After the success of the last mini enduro, DRL is hosting this one-off event exclusively featuring GT4 cars.
Delta Racing League is a relaxed sim racing community that emphasize discussion and friendly attitudes, where beginners and veterans alike can race together, improve, banter, and - most importantly - have fun with a hobby we all share!
This event will require drivers be verified on Discord for participation, so please join the DRL Discord server and make sure you follow instructions in #readme-and-rules to get the correct role. DRL requires all drivers have a minimum SA requirement of 50.
If the grid is full, we will remove unverified teams to make space for those on the waitlist who have been verified.
Server: [drlna] Delta Racing League | GT4 Mini Enduro 3 Hours of Oulton Park
Password: See Discord #🏁-event-info-🏁 for the server password on the day of the race.
During the week prior to the race, the server will be used as a practice server with settings comparable to those during the race. The weather forecast will be provided by Lennyslounge.net and available in #🏁-event-info-🏁 to help drivers and teams develop strategies prior to the start of the race.
We expect a mix of drivers from around the world and everyone is welcome to participate; however we do require your ping to be good enough to not lead to dangerous lagging for other drivers. Be sure to log into the practice server prior to the event start to see if latency is tolerable
Please check the #readme-and-rules channel in the discord a link to the rulebook. Drivers will be held accountable for rules even if they haven't read them.
For this endurance race, there will be live stewarding, as well as a live broadcast on the DRL YouTube Channel. Previously we have required teams to submit reports on incidents on track through a google survey: Due to the large number or Ironmen/women/drivers (Single driver teams) Stewards have decided to also live steward the event through ACC Race Control.
The start of the 60min Practice session is prior to the posted time for the event. Teams will have 50 dry tire sets to be used across practice, qualification, and race. Maximum driver stint time will be 50 minutes (ensuring a 3 stop minimum) with Teams limited to 1-2 drivers each.
As we hope most of you are aware of: there are some peculiarities with ACC endurance racing. Specifically, it is vital that drivers join in the correct order, with the starting driver (driver #1) joining the server before anyone else. If you fail to do so, you break your entry in the server and you won't be able to participate in the race. If this is your first endurance race, please read up on instructions and you should be fine. Note however that we will not restart the server to reset your entry if you break it.
DRL manages Custom liveries through the Awesome Simracing app. See #🎨︱enduro-liveries for instructions on how to use the app and website.
Upload your livery Here, and please adhere to DRL's Code of conduct rules when designing your livery. When in doubt - if it isn't PG-13, leave it out.
If you want to support Delta Racing League, we have a Patreon page. The proceeds are used to cover server costs.
