OVERVIEW
Welcome back to the North America Converge Endurance Open -- Its round 3 and final round as we head to South Africa for 6 hours of Kyalami! We are a group of relaxed sim racing communities that emphasize discussion and friendly attitudes, where beginners and veterans alike can race together, improve, banter, and - most importantly - have fun with a hobby we all share!
Our respective racing leagues are Zealous Racing League (ZRL Discord) Apollo Racing Club (ARC Discord) and Delta Racing League (DRL Discord). We are joining forces with the goal to create larger grids for endurance events based in North American time zones. This event is open to all drivers and not just drivers currently involved in our racing leagues.
This event will be hosted by Zealous Racing League and will require drivers to be verified on Discord for participation, so please join our discord, by clicking the "ZRL Discord" link above or on the right hand side, and make sure you DM a League Owner/Manager to get the correct role to see the proper category & channels.
If the grid is full, we will remove unverified teams to make space for reserves on the list who have been verified.
SERVER DETAILS
Server: Zealous Racing League | 6 Hours of Kyalami
Password: Will be available in "📢announcements-enduro" once you have the correct role to see the "👽 ---ZRL Endurance---👽" category.
The server will be live @ 10:00am EST for 85 min of practice, before the 30 min qualifying session @ 11:25am EST
The time listed on SimGrid is the time the race will begin.
During the week prior to the race starting Feb 1st, the server will be used as a practice server with settings comparable to those during the race.
We expect a mix of drivers from around the world as anyone is welcome to participate; however as we are a North American based server, we do require your ping to be sufficiently good enough to not lead to dangerous lagging for other drivers.
RULES AND RACING STANDARDS

For this endurance race, there will be live stewarding, and the race will also be broadcasted live on our ZRL YouTube Channel.
FORMAT
- 85 min Practice session @ 10:00am EST (4:00pm in game)
- 30 min Qualification session @ 11:25am EST (4:00pm in game) (15min - GT4/15min - GT3)
- 6 hour Race @ 12:00pm EST
Race time will be from 4:00pm - 10:00pm (in game time) to enjoy the African sunset, and will end in the darkness of night.
There will be 50 dry tire sets to be used across practice, qualification, and race. Maximum driver stint time will be 65 minutes with cars limited to 2-3 drivers each.
Drivers should expect but not promised, a high of 21 C (70F) as well as all aspects of weather.
ENDURANCE RACES
As we hope most of you are aware of: there are some peculiarities with ACC endurance racing. Specifically, it is vital that drivers join in the correct order, with the starting driver joining the server before anyone else. If you fail to do so, you break your entry in the server and you won't be able to participate in the race. If this is your first endurance race, please read up on instructions and you should be fine. Note however that we will not restart the server to reset your entry if you break it.
CUSTOM LIVERIES
ZRL does allow custom liveries, and will for this race. Once you have the correct role you will see the channel "🎨liveries-submissions" to upload your submissions for the event.
