TRACKILICIOUS is an organization that runs IRL track day events and SIM championships, combining the passion from both worlds to create a competitive SIM community for all skill levels. The purpose of this series is to give everyone a taste of both sides of multi-class racing. We accomplish this by asking each driver to participate in both GT3 and GT4 classes, on alternating weeks. Split 1 and Split 2 will alternate between GT3 cars and GT4 cars as groups, so you'll be racing against the same drivers each week. We ask that all registrants have confidence in their competency on track. The league's quality will be enforced with stewarding to keep incidents on track to a minimum!
Don’t feel like you are there yet? No problem! Hop into our discord and join our ROOKIE GT4 Monday Series and our supportive community will help guide you through growing pains of the steep learning curve of SIM racing!
Qualifiers will determine 2 splits. Each split will alternate classes on a weekly basis as below:
1 Split 1: GT3 / Split 2: GT4 Imola
2 Split 1: GT4 / Split 2: GT3 Spa
3 Split 1: GT3 / Split 2: GT4 Suzuka
4 Split 1: GT4 / Split 2: GT3 Monza
5 Split 1: GT3 / Split 2: GT4 Oulton Park
6 Split 1: GT4 / Split 2: GT3 Barcelona
7 Split 1: GT3 / Split 2: GT4 Bathurst
8 Split 1: GT4 / Split 2: GT3 Watkins Glen
9 Split 1: GT3 / Split 2: GT4 Laguna Seca
10 Split 1: GT4 / Split 2: GT3 Donington Park
Your cars for this series are not determined by your choice on SimGrid, but rather by a form you can find in our discord. Each driver will choose a GT3 car and a GT4 car.
Choose the split that you feel best fits you. The field will be reorganized after the qualifying races to ensure balanced splits.
Each split will use their GT4 car for five races, and their GT3 car for five races, on alternating weeks.
In the weeks leading up to the start of the series, there will be a qualifying server at Nurburgring. Each driver is required to set a representative lap time in their GT3 car and their GT4 car.
On Thursday March 2nd there will be a double header 30/30 min pre-season qualifying race at Nurburgring in GT3 cars. Splits will be finalized based on your best laps from the quali server at Nurburgring, the laps you set during the qualifying sessions, and your race pace in the pre-season qualifier race.
You are welcome to share liveries/setups and drive with whoever you want, but a teams championship will not be scored for this series.
We love to see the creativity on the grid and welcome custom liveries. If you are new and have questions, join our discord! We will be happy to help.
