WELCOME TO THE SIMZONE

OVERVIEW

Welcome to The SimZone's 4 hours of Silverstone! 

This is a driver-swap team endurance event, where you can signup with 2 - 3 drivers in a team. 

The race will be broadcasted to our YouTube channel

Teams that have not joined our Discord server will have their signup removed

EVENT TIMETABLE

Saturday 07/01/23

  • Driver Briefing (10 mins): 4:20PM GMT
  • Practice (30 mins): 4:30PM GMT
  • Qualifying (20 minutes): 5PM GMT
  • Race (4 hours): 5:20PM GMT

PRIZES

1ST PLACE: each team member will receive a SimZone setup bundle of their choice

2ND PLACE: each team member will receive 2 individual SimZone setups of their choice

3RD PLACE: each team member will receive 1 individual SimZone setup of their choice

STEWARDING

There will be live and post race stewarding. You will be able to submit incident reports via our website, directly to the stewards who will thoroughly review the footage provided. 

STINT TIMERS

The championship enforces a 65 minutes driver stint limit. The stint timer stops when you enter the pitlane and is reset upon exiting the pit lane, unless you are serving a penalty. The game will automatically apply a Drive Through penalty if the stint limit is exceeded. Each driver must drive at least one stint during each race, otherwise a 130s penalty will automatically be applied. 

There will be no max driver time

 

CUSTOM LIVERIES

Custom liveries made outside of the game are permitted in this event for The SimZone Patrons or for a small fee of £2 but please bear in mind that they are not officially supported by the game's developers and their use can induce significant lag for the user.
