5FI Racing Founders' League 2022 Winter Championship

Overview

Join us for 7 rounds of sprint racing as we launch our first host on SimGrid as we gear up for 2023!  Thursday sprints (Thanksgiving adjusted to Black Friday) will keep you warm as the race to be the first 5FI champion heats up.  Broadcasting for events is planned and live-timing will be available for all races.  Check back or join our discord as we roll out additional series!

Following this initial round at Zandvoort, the series will visit:

• Zandvoort
• Brands Hatch
• Hungaroring
• Kyalami
• Imola
• COTA
• Barcelona

Race schedule

21:00 (9:00 PM CST): Practice Opens (45 min) 21:45 (9:45PM CST): Qualifying (15 min) 22:00 (10:00PM CST): Race (60 min)

RACE Conditions

All practices will begin at 10am, qualifying at 2pm, race at 4pm.  1x time multiplier.

RACE RULES

SA: 70 Single Driver race lasting 60 minutes.  A single pit stop with refueling is required and race participants are restricted to 5 tire sets.

Live-Stewarding is planned as frequently as possible in this series.  When unavailable, incidents (submitted via discord) will be reviewed post-race.

Custom Liveries

Custom liveries will be permitted but are not supported by the host.  Custom liveries can be provided to the host via Discord.
