The year is 1929. Thanks to several breakthroughs in manufacturing compact batteries and the creation of simplified lightbulbs, an inventor by the name of Oscar J. Simler patents the groundworks for the very first production ready indicator system.
The Utah native is very pleased, as he would make a small fortune off the patent. However, as Newton famously proved several centuries prior, "For every action in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction".
The idea of the indicator making it's way to reality sparked an unseen shockwave across the Atlantic to a recently established aircraft manufacturer in Bavaria who also had a genius idea they wished to share...

Join us for a multiclass battle featuring the legendary Bavarian motorsport outfit. Take your pick of BMWs catalog, from the M6 to the M2, and get your flashers bound as we head to Silverstone in this 60 minute sprint.
To register for this event, click the "Register" button. On the next page, pick the car you wish to use along with your chosen driver number. If your number has already been taken, you will need to pick another number. Once you are registered, join the Discord for more information.

This race will have a mandatory stop for tires.
Since this is an event that we are running for fun, there will be no stewarding for the race. We will have an admin present to ensure that the racing remains respectful, and will remove drivers that are deemed to be driving dangerously.
The race will be streamed with commentary over on the REVSPORT YouTube channel.
The server will use the following weather conditions:
A practice server will be created for drivers to use in the week leading up to the race.
A form will be shared in the Discord to allow drivers to upload liveries that either they have created, or they have found on an online source such as RaceDepartment.
Liveries must not contain any political messages or offensive material. Any that do will not have their livery shown on the stream.
