IXRacing Xbox One League

Rules and Regulations

Qualifying - Do not overtake a car which is on its hot lap even if you are faster. You can only overtake the car in front if his lap gets invalidated. If an incident like this gets reported, it will result in a qualifying ban for the next round. Incidents You can always submit an incident where you were involved in if you feel like it should be reviewed. This can be done in the Discord server.

Incident Report & Timeline Incident Reporting Incidents can be submitted for review by a dedicated team of IXR Stewards. Every incident raised will be reviewed by at least one steward within 72 hours of receipt. Reporting Period Incidents can be reported up to 24 hours after the race. Incidents reported after this will not be reviewed. This is to give stewards sufficient time to review incidents and decide whether a penalty is applicable (and enable league admins to update league tables accordingly) in a reasonable timescale and in advance of the next round. Video Evidence Requirements Video evidence is required for any incident to be reviewed. The video should meet the following criteria: - HUD (e.g. driver standings, throttle/brake pedal inputs) must be displayed at all times - The video must show the incident from both perspectives. First from the point of view of the driver who submits the report, then from the perspective of the other driver(s) involved - Ensure a suitable amount of video footage before the incident is captured so stewards can understand/see anything that led up to the incident itself - It is mandatory to select the chase or helicopter camera and if possible both angles are preferred - Please leave the replay speed at x1 (original speed). If there are longer situations to be assessed (e.g. Ignoring Blue Flags), the replay speed can be increased. Steward Decision The stewards’ findings/decision regarding the investigation into your report will contain the following: - Drivers Involved - Penalty Given - Decision Explanation The penalty explanation is aimed at providing transparency on the factors which led to the decision. The hope is that this will both help drivers involved understand the reasoning behind the decision, and maybe provide some constructive feedback to the drivers involved for future events. Please note decisions are final and are not subject to negotiation or debate by those involved or any other parties.

Blue Flags - Blue flags are advisory, slow/lapped Drivers can stay on their line but must facilitate the lapping car by lifting to make sure they reduce the time lost to the faster car. A blue-flagged Driver is not allowed to defend his track position against the lapping car and he/she should stay on his/her line. Intentionally holding up or defending against a lapping car may determine the application of a penalty or even the disqualification of the Driver by the Stewards. Drivers about to be lapped have to behave in a predictable way without sudden changes of direction. Drivers in front must not stay ahead of a lapping car within blue flag (1 seconds of) distance with the car behind closing in for more than one full lap. The blue flag distance is determined and indicated by the game on the player’s HUD and in-car safety device. The lapping car may use the flashing lights to indicate intention to pass or indicate the passing move. Lapped Drivers are allowed to un lap themselves as long as they can pull away after passing the Driver that has a lap advantage. It is at the discretion of the car in front to facilitate the move. The car with lap advantage is not required to allow the lapped car back in front and the car behind has no right to attack the car in front unless the move is facilitated or suggested by the car ahead by using indicators, lifting the accelerator or keeping to one side of the track. Depending on the race format, each driver should be able to gauge the necessity of the un lapping maneuver.
