Multiclass is back!
It's been a while since The Sim Grid has hosted a multiclass event so we thought it's about time we hosted one again.
We are in Spa for this multiclass event, with 90minutes of intense racing between the GT3 and GT4!
There are 5 splits available, and space on the grid for 50 cars in each split, we could have up to 250 drivers racing in one evening! But you should act fast if you want to be one of them.
*More splits may be made available depending on demand.
First-come-first-serve event. Register quickly to secure your space on the grid. Once the grid is full, you can register as a reserve driver and then take any available grid slots should a driver drop out or be absent.
The split you choose to race in is ultimately your decision, but we want to ensure that drivers are racing in splits where they can be competitive and are of similar experience to those around them. A large gap in pace and experience can cause problems on track. Splits 1-2 are for the fastest and most experienced drivers, working down to split 5 which is an ideal split for rookies.
Practice - 19:30 CET
Drivers Briefing - 20:20 CET
Qualifying - 20:30 CET (15min for GT3 and 15min for GT4)
Race - 21:00 CET
Two mandatory pit stops are required and these can be taken at any point during the race.
Split 1 will have both Live and post-race stewarding. Splits 2-5 may have live stewarding depending on steward availability. All splits will have post-race stewarding using the report form available here on the website under the `Races` tab. Please read the rules to learn about the incident report process.
The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this event. However, the use of these liveries is not officially supported by the game developers. Please be aware that running external custom liveries can induce significant client side lag when another user connects or disconnects.
If you are signed up but then unavailable to attend, please click `manage registration` and then click `leave event` so that your slot will be given to the first listed reserve driver.
