The MOZA ESX Steering Wheel for Xbox combines official Xbox licensing with MOZA Racing’s direct drive technology to deliver an unparalleled racing experience.
As Europe starts to get colder, lets fly south for the winter and hold a race at one of the most iconic race tracks in the world; Mount Panorama! High speed straights, one of the fastest corners in the world, a near full throttle ascent up the mountain and a fast but narrow descent... this is a race track that has claimed many sim racers lives, it certainly is not a track for the faint-hearted!
This event, at 2.4h (2h 24min) is the longest solo driver event we have held at The Sim Grid and it's going to be intense as racing always is at Bathurst.
There are 8 splits available, and space on the grid for 40 cars in each split, we could have up to 320 drivers racing in one evening! But you should act fast if you want to be one of them.
*More splits may be made available depending on demand.
*Please note that the schedule page will show the race session as 2h, this is because there is no option to select 2h 24min.
First-come-first-serve event. Register quickly to secure your space on the grid. Once the grid is full, you can register as a reserve driver and then take any available grid slots should a driver drop out or be absent.
The split you choose to race in is ultimately your decision, but we want to ensure that drivers are racing in splits where they can be competitive and are of similar experience to those around them. A large gap in pace and experience can cause problems on track, especially at a track like Bathurst, so choose your split carefully. Below are some estimated pace levels we expect from drivers in the following splits to help you choose:
Practice - 20:00 CET
Drivers Briefing - 20:30 CET
Qualifying - 20:40 CET
Race - 21:00 CET
Three mandatory pit stops are required and these can be taken at any point during the race.
Split 1 will have both Live and post-race stewarding. Splits 2-8 may have live stewarding depending on steward availability. All splits will have post-race stewarding using the report form available here on the website under the `Races` tab. Please read the rules to learn about the incident report process.
The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this event. However, the use of these liveries is not officially supported by the game developers. Please be aware that running external custom liveries can induce significant client side lag when another user connects or disconnects.
If you are signed up but then unavailable to attend, please click `manage registration` and then click `leave event` so that your slot will be given to the first listed reserve driver.
