Alpha Mini Direct Drive; 10Nm Entry level Direct Drive Wheelbase. With 10Nm maximum torque and 200MHz processor, feel the upgrade of force feedback, the precision and authenticity that have been absent from any non-direct drive.
The Sim Grid Academy Cup is a series of x5 45 minute races held in the Porsche Cup car. Each round will feature a 15 minute practice session, 15 minute qualifying session and a 45 minute race. Tracks like Barcelona and Zandvoort will offer a real challenge due to the lack of traction control and downforce on the car, but with tracks like Monza and Spa also on the calendar you'll get to enjoy the very high speeds the cars can reach!
Bonus: For the duration of this championship, the Coach Dave Academy Porsche 911 Cup setup bundle will run with a 20% discount.
The first 175 drivers to register to this series secure a slot (as long as they also complete the required laps on the qualification server). Any registrations after this will be listed as Reserve. Reserve drivers are also asked to do the required laps on the qualification server so they can be allocated as Reserve to a split and then race in the event another driver is unavailable or leaves the championship.
Update 15th October - There will be 50 full series slots available + 50 reserve slots available. The first 25 full series slots open at 20:00 CEST on 15th October. The final 25 full series slots and reserve slots will open at 20:00 CEST on 16th October.
QUALIFICATION SERVEROnce you have registered, all drivers need to complete at least 1 session on the qualification server. A session is a minimum of 10 timed, valid laps (out-laps do not count!). The lap times will then be averaged and drivers sorted based on their average lap time. The top 35 drivers will be in split 1, the next 35 in split 2 and the final 35 in split 3. Drivers are limited to a maximum of 5 sessions.

The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this sprint series but please bear in mind that they are not officially supported by the game developers and their use can induce significant lag for the user.
Races in Split 1 will be live streamed on YouTube and custom liveries can be shared in a dedicated channel on discord for the stream broadcaster to run.
Any politically charged or potentially offensive material on a custom livery will see that driver banned from the series.
To avoid the significant lag that custom liveries bring, we suggest that drivers run the livery but without the .png file.
If you are unavailable to attend a round in the championship, then you can use the withdraw function. This is found by clicking on the `Races` tab, and then `Admin` on the round you need to withdraw from. There you will find the withdraw button. Please check the info tab to see how many signouts are permitted.
If you have withdrawn from a race, but plans change and you wish to attend the race after all, please contact a member of League & Event staff as the slot may have been filled already.
If you are a reserve driver, you can see if drivers have withdrawn from a round on the same `Admin` tab on each round. If you see a driver has withdrawn and you wish to take their place, please contact a member of League & Event staff.
Reserve drivers are expected to be available at the event time on race day so they can race if other drivers fail to turn up without reporting absence.
