OVERVIEW
Do you ever look at the Aston Martin V8 and think "you look good but don't sound awesome enough, you need a V12"? Do you ever look at the Lamborghini and Audi Evo cars and think "I want to drive you, but you're too safe for my liking"? Maybe you look at Silverstone and wish you could be like those aliens who do 1:56s?
Well... The Sim Grid is here to fix all that. It's time to go back in time, to 2018, for our first ever Throwback Thursday event!
On October 8th we go back in time to 2018 Silverstone for 60minutes of racing. The track grip was better so 56s are much more achievable than on the 2019 track. And the BoP is different so cars may not be as good as they are now, or better than they are now, and some of them are a completely different car altogether!
Let us hear the roar of all those V12 Aston Martins!
SIGN UP PROCESS
First-come-first-serve event. Register quickly to secure your space on the grid. Once the grid is full, you can register as a reserve and then take any available grid slots should drivers drop out or be absent.

PIT STOPS
One mandatory pit stop is required. A tyre change is required but refuelling is not permitted.
STEWARDING
All splits will have post-race stewarding only. Please read the rules to learn about the incident report process.
RULES
CUSTOM LIVERIES
The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this event. However, the use of these liveries is not officially supported by the game developers. Please be aware that running external custom liveries can induce significant client side lag when another user connects or disconnects.
WITHDRAW AND RESERVES
If you are signed up but then unavailable to attend, please click `manage registration` and then click `leave event` so that your slot will be given to the first listed reserve driver.
