Code of Conduct and Penalty Rules

1. Preface

All drivers are responsible for showing respect both on and off the track. Through the 5SPX season, we provide you with a platform where you can participate in daily competitive races. However, the enjoyment of the race should be the top priority for each of us. That's why we provide you with this set of rules so that our social values and principles can also be practiced on the track. As a racing community, 5SR supports inclusivity and diversity and hopes to provide everyone with the best racing experience.

---

2. General Rules

Each driver registered to participate in the 5SPX season races commits to abide by the following rules. Violations of these rules will result in penalties and may lead to exclusion from our services depending on the severity of the violation.

2.1. Driver and Team Names and Avatars

All drivers must use normal names in the game. The names should include first names and last names. Numbers, punctuation marks, or special characters are not allowed. Offensive, racist, or insulting words in names, as well as offensive, racist, war - glorifying, or insulting symbols and materials in avatars, are strictly prohibited!

Typical online or spoof nicknames and names referring to public figures are also prohibited.

The 5SPX race committee has the right to decide whether to allow a driver's name.

Similar to real - world motorsports, driver and team names must not contain additional content for advertising purposes. Team names must not consist solely of web addresses.

By participating in the 5SPX season, you are deemed to have accepted the above code of conduct. We reserve the right to use these names permanently on live broadcasts, websites, or other platforms.

2.2. Multiple Accounts

The use of multiple accounts is not allowed throughout the 5SPX league. So - called "alt accounts" are not permitted! This also includes sharing accounts with other users. If this rule is violated, we reserve the right to completely and permanently exclude the relevant accounts (including the main account) from the race services.

2.3. Hardware, Software, and Network Connection

Each driver needs to have sufficient hardware, software, and network connection to ensure safe driving. If we detect problems (e.g., high ping, inappropriate input devices, incorrect software configuration), we reserve the right to exclude these drivers from the 5SPX season until the problems are resolved.

2.4. Input Devices

All input devices are allowed as long as they can ensure safe driving, including keyboards, mice, gamepads, steering wheels, and pedal devices.

2.5. Racing Liveries

Currently, the LMU game does not support custom liveries, and all liveries provided in the game are allowed.

If the game supports custom liveries, displaying offensive, racist, or political content will result in a permanent ban.

2.6. Driving Aids

- Brake Assist: Not allowed

- Ideal Line: Allowed

- Automatic Shifting: Allowed

- Stability Control: Allowed

- Steering Assist: Not allowed

- Automatic Clutch: Allowed

2.7. Race Preparation

Each driver must be fully prepared for the race to avoid unnecessarily putting other participants in dangerous situations.

2.8. Cheating

Any form of cheating is strictly prohibited! In addition, the use of any software glitches to gain an advantage over other drivers is not allowed.

2.9. Telemetry Data (MoTeC)

We reserve the right to request telemetry data (MoTeC) in individual cases or on a random basis. If the telemetry data cannot be provided for subsequent races after a clear request, it may result in a permanent ban and the deletion of all race points.

2.10. Technical Issues

Each driver is responsible for checking in a timely manner whether they can participate in the race. If there are technical problems (e.g., hardware failure, Windows or Steam updates, network failure) or other obligations, you must cancel your race registration on your own in a timely manner to avoid losses and point deductions.

If a race session fails to start normally due to technical problems on the LMU official server or on the 5SPX side, you must wait at least 10 minutes for a possible delayed start. If this causes an unintentional overlap with subsequent races, you must withdraw from these races on your own.

2.11. Unsportsmanlike Conduct

Even matters not explicitly mentioned in the code of conduct may be considered unsportsmanlike conduct and subject to corresponding penalties.

2.12. Undefined Events

If a problem not defined in the rules occurs during the season, the 5SPX Competition Committee will make a decision.

2.13. Third - Party Advertising

Without explicit written permission, actively promoting other platforms, leagues, events, or companies is not allowed. The exception to this rule is advertising elements on racing liveries and official team names.

2.14. Rule Changes

We reserve the right to change or expand the rules when necessary. This may also be done during the season. Changes will be announced on our race homepage, Discord, and community WeChat group.

---

3. Track Behavior

First of all, through the 5SPX race season, we hope to provide everyone with an interesting racing experience. We require each driver to show respect on the track. Our community is diverse, which can also be seen from the different driver strengths. All rules must be respected by each driver.

3.1. Qualifying Behavior

(In the 2025S1 season, individual qualifying will be used, i.e., drivers will qualify individually without affecting others. In subsequent seasons, open qualifying may be considered depending on the competitiveness of the races.)

a) Each driver on the in - lap or out - lap must give up the racing line for drivers doing flying laps. Please be aware of your actions and keep an eye on drivers doing flying laps.

b) Each driver is responsible for leaving enough space for the vehicle in front to avoid catching up with it during your flying lap!

c) Drivers doing flying laps do not have to give up space for faster drivers.

d) Faster drivers must not interfere with the flying laps of slower drivers who are also doing valid flying laps. In multi - class races, faster classes can overtake slower classes.

e) The pit lane speed limit must not be exceeded at any time.

f) At the start of qualifying, drivers must queue at the pit lane entrance and wait. They can only leave the pit lane after seeing the green light; otherwise, they will receive an in - game DT penalty.

3.2. Race Behavior

a) During the formation lap, especially before the start of the race, the specified starting procedure (e.g., specified position/speed) must be followed. The maximum speed in LMU is 60 km/h. Intentional lagging behind ("last - to - first challenge"), unpredictable deceleration, or lane changes are strictly prohibited! Automatic penalties will also be applied in the game.

Please make sure to participate in more daily races before joining community races to familiarize yourself with the game mechanics!

b) The overtaking driver is responsible for making a clean overtake. However, both drivers must remain vigilant during the overtaking process.

c) Dangerous or reckless "divebomb" overtakes (either for position or for lapped drivers) on other drivers are prohibited!

d) When competing for positions, drivers must leave enough space for each other. Forcing another vehicle off the track or intentional collisions are not allowed.

e) Any driver defending a position on a straight can use the full width of the track when changing lanes as they approach the braking zone, provided that no "major part" of the overtaking vehicle is beside them. In this case, the driver defending the position must not deviate from their line without good reason. To avoid any doubt, "major part" means that the front of the overtaking vehicle is beside the rear wheels of the other vehicle.

f) When competing for positions, the leading driver can change the racing line once for defense. The lane change for defense must be made in a timely manner. Reacting to the previous lane change of the attacker ("blocking") is not allowed. Multiple lane changes to break the slipstream ("weaving") and lane changes in the braking zone ("diagonal braking") are prohibited.

g) "Breaktest" (sudden and unnecessary heavy braking), "cut - off" (changing lanes despite still having an overlap with the other vehicle), or "ram - and - overtake" (hitting the rear of the opponent to prevent them from turning) are prohibited.

h) In the pit lane, drivers must stay in the "fast lane" (the lane next to the pit wall) for as long as possible. If non - compliance causes interference, we will issue warnings/penalties depending on the situation. Vehicles in the fast lane have priority.

i) Drivers exiting the pit lane must not cross the continuous line. In addition, the track limits in the pit lane exit area must be observed; exceeding the track limits in the pit lane exit area will result in a penalty.

j) Drivers must ensure that they do not interfere with other drivers when leaving the pit lane. On some tracks, if necessary, they must leave the ideal line so that other drivers can return to the track unobstructed.

k) Driving in the wrong direction is prohibited.

l) Headlight flashing can be used to alert lapped vehicles. When competing for positions, flashing signals can be used to indicate to other drivers that you are faster. Excessive use of flashing signals is not allowed and may result in a warning or penalty.

m) In multi - class races, drivers of faster vehicles (or classes) are responsible for overtaking slower vehicles (or classes) in a safe place. It must be taken into account that each driver is driving at the limit of their vehicle and is also competing for positions with other drivers in the same class. Reckless "divebomb" at the end of the braking zone or at the entrance of a corner is not allowed, and if an accident occurs, corresponding penalties may be imposed!

Drivers of slower vehicles have the right to choose the line, so faster vehicles (or classes) must find a safe way to overtake. If a driver from a faster class is directly behind, the driver of the slower vehicle (or class) should always stay on the racing line and not make unpredictable lane changes. Accidents caused by unpredictable behavior may result in penalties.

n) Each driver must respect the blue flag. You must not defend under the blue flag and should maintain your line. Please use the appropriate part of the track to overtake the driver shown the blue flag (e.g., a straight is appropriate, while a complex corner section is not).

Continuous disregard of the blue flag may result in a penalty.

o) The yellow flag must be respected, and drivers must drive cautiously under the yellow flag.

---

4. Off - Track Behavior

The 5SR Sim Racing Community hopes that everyone respects our social standards and values. Everyone must make their own contribution to this! Therefore, the following instructions must be followed. Violations or disregard of these instructions - whether in the game chat, WeChat group chat, or Discord - will result in penalties depending on the severity of the violation and may lead to exclusion from our entire community platform.

a) Any form of insult is prohibited.

b) Discriminatory or racist remarks are prohibited and will always result in a lifetime ban.

c) Spreading political or theological content is prohibited, and if it involves radical remarks, a lifetime ban will be imposed.

d) Discriminatory behavior is prohibited and will be penalized.

e) Using in - game chat during free practice is allowed. During races and qualifying, using in - game chat is prohibited. You can discuss the race through our event WeChat group and Discord. After the race, you can send short phrases like "Good race" in the game chat.

---

5. Reporting and Penalties

If an accident occurs, you can record a video of the accident and send it to the event administrator via WeChat or Discord after the race. The 5SR Competition Committee will review and adjudicate it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
