Kodiak Racing League - ACC GT4 Challenge Rules
Welcome to the Kodiak Racing League GT4 Challenge! To ensure a fair, competitive, and respectful racing environment, all drivers must follow these rules.
1. General Conduct
- Respect All Drivers β Disrespectful behavior in game chat or Discord will not be tolerated.
- No Rage Quitting β If you must retire, do so safely and remain in the session until the race concludes.
- Clean Racing Required β Intentional wrecking, reckless driving, or excessive aggression will result in penalties or Removal.
2. Race Format & Schedule
- Race Day: Tuesdays
- Race Briefing: 7:50 PM EST (Mandatory)
- Practice: 30 minutes (8:00 PM EST)
- Qualifying: 10 minutes (Maintain a 5-second gap between cars)
- Race Length: 60 minutes
- Mandatory Pit Stop: Drivers must refuel and change tires
3. Racing Rules
- Track Limits & Flags:
- Red, Blue, and Black Flags must be respected.
- Stay within the demarcation line when entering/exiting the pit lane.
- Defensive & Aggressive Driving:
- No Dive Bombing β Avoid making reckless late braking moves that cause contact.
- One move allowed when defending a position. Excessive blocking is not permitted.
- Incidents & Rejoining the Track:
- If you go off the track, wait until it is safe before rejoining.
- If an accident occurs on track, apply brakes and hold position until clear.
- If you cause an incident on reentry, you will be penalized.
- Blue Flags: Lapped cars must yield safely to faster traffic.
- Server Availability: The server will be open 24/7 for practice within 12 hours after each race.
4. Incident Reporting & Stewarding
- Drivers must record their races.
- Incidents must be reported in the Incident Channel with a 30-second clip before and after the incident.
- Other party's video may be requested for review.
- No Video = No Incident Review. If no footage is provided, the incident will not be considered.
- Steward Decisions: The Head Steward will review incidents and may add or subtract points based on the ruling.
5. Communication & Attendance
- Discord is required for communication and race briefings.
- If you cannot attend a race, notify an admin in advance to allow for substitutes.
