Kodiak Racing League – ACC Season 3 Drivers Challenge
General Information:
Step out of the box and test your skills in this pure driver challenge! This event is open to all drivers and aims to provide a fun and competitive racing experience.
- This is a 6-car season, featuring 4 regular GT3 cars and 2 endurance GT3 cars.
- Each driver will select 2 GT3 cars for the first half of the season, alternating between them each week, along with 1 endurance GT3 car.
- At the halfway mark, drivers will select 2 new GT3 cars (alternating weekly) and 1 new endurance GT3 car for the second half of the season.
- Races will be held on Thursdays at 8:00 PM EST, starting March 3, 2025, and ending May 8, 2025.
- Race format includes 30 minutes of practice, 10 minutes of qualifying, and a 60-minute race.
- One mandatory pit stop is required per race, including both tires and fuel.
- The top 10 drivers at the end of the season will be invited to a special Cup Race.
Car Selection:
- First Half of the Season:
- Choose 2 GT3 cars, alternating each week.
- Choose 1 endurance GT3 car.
- Second Half of the Season:
- Select 2 new GT3 cars, alternating each week.
- Select 1 new endurance GT3 car.
- Car selections must be locked in before the start of each half of the season.
Race Format:
- Practice: 30 minutes
- Qualifying: 10 minutes
- Race: 60 minutes
- Mandatory Pit Stop: Drivers must take tires and fuel during their stop.
Points System:
- Points will be awarded as follows:
- 1st place: 10 points
- 2nd place: 9 points
- 3rd place: 8 points
- 4th place: 7 points
- 5th place: 6 points
- 6th place: 5 points
- 7th place: 4 points
- 8th place: 3 points
- 9th place: 2 points
- 10th place: 1 point
- 1 bonus point will be awarded for the fastest lap.
- Season standings will determine the top 10 drivers who qualify for the special Cup Race.
General Conduct:
- Clean and respectful racing is expected.
- Intentional contact or reckless driving will not be tolerated.
- Track limits must be respected; repeated violations may result in penalties.
- Race control reserves the right to issue penalties for unsportsmanlike behavior.
Special Cup Race:
- The top 10 drivers from Season 3 standings will be invited.
- Details regarding format, cars, and track will be announced closer to the event.
