1.1 Billy Oirish Racing promotes and runs the Porsche Cup Sim Series. This Series will comprise of 12 rounds, and the points accumulated from each round will count towards the Porsche Cup Championship.
2.1 In an effort to further expand the registration period we will delay the start of the season until the 9th of February. We will therefore hold a "Media Day" For those signed up to the championship on the 2nd of February.
2.2 The Media Day will be a non points race and will take place at: Oulton Park International (W/O Brittons) . This session will be an introductory run and will NOT count towards the championship. It will begin at the regular time of 9PM UK time.
2.3 The Championship will then commence the following weekend as detailed below:

4.1 Billy Oirish Racing Porsche Cup will consist of the following classes:
4.2 You will be placed in a class depending on your iRating. Details will be provided on Discord.
4.3 Any driver judged by the stewards to be too fast for the AM class, i.e., performing noticeably above their competitors in race conditions for the first 3 rounds of the series will be moved up to the Pro class automatically and receive a 20 championship point deduction.
5.1 All competitors in the Billy Oirish Racing Porsche Cup Sim Series must have paid for entry prior to the beginning of the Championship.
5.2 The minimum age for entry is 14 on the date of the first qualifying session.
6.1 The number of events in the series is set to 12 rounds utilising the iRacing platform.
6.2 Each round will utilise the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup Car. A maximum of 60 cars will be admitted per round. Series registration/entry will be given priority in the order below:
6.3 Entries for the series will close on February 9th, 2025.
6.4 There will be a Sprint race of 30 Minutes:

6.5 The 2025 Billy Oirish Racing Sim Series Pro and AM driversâ titles will be awarded to the drivers who have scored the highest number of points in each category during the 2025 first season.
6.6 Points will only count for 11 of the 12 proposed rounds. Each driver may drop their worst score across the season.
6.7 Drivers must take part in at least one of the four opening rounds of the championship to be eligible to attend the second half of the season.
6.8 To be eligible to score points, drivers must be classified as running by iRacing at the end of a race.
6.9 Points will be awarded in Sprint races as follows:

6.10 Force Majeure:
Should an event be suspended due to âforce majeureâ (e.g., technical issues), the following will happen:

Should two or more drivers finish the series with the same number of points, the championship will be awarded to the driver who has:

The organisers reserve the right to reject the registration of any participant without specifying the reason.
7. The event will start with a practice session at 9PM UK.
7.1 All races will use a standing start procedure.
7.2 All races will be open setup.
8.1 Drivers are responsible for their conduct and that of team members or family.
8.2 Drivers must act professionally and courteously.
8.3 Drivers must obey organisersâ directions.
9.1 Entrants are expected to be courteous, giving back positions gained unfairly.
9.2 IRacing penalties apply at 17 incident points, with an additional penalty every 5 points thereafter.
9.3 Two fast repairs will be available in each sprint race.

9.6 Drivers must have the Porsche Cup Discord channel active during races, using push-to-talk only.
10.1 Track limits are as per iRacing automated limits (incident points and slowdowns).
10.2 For close racing, track limits are defined by the solid white lines on each side of the track. Curbs, run-off areas, grass, and gravel are not considered part of the track.
11.1 Drivers must display current championship decals during official sessions.
11.2 Profanity, nudity, or political content is not permitted on cars.
