Welcome to the Azure Blitz RL racing community! To maintain a competitive and fun environment, please adhere to the following racing rules:
Always show respect to your fellow competitors. Treat everyone with courtesy, both on and off the track.
Avoid personal attacks, insults, or offensive language. A positive environment makes for better racing.
Clean driving is essential. Avoid reckless driving, unnecessary contact, or blocking.
If you cause an incident, do not leave the track without acknowledging it or giving back positions if needed. Don't abuse the game's reset features to gain an unfair advantage.
Respect the track limits at all times. Corner cutting, running wide, or using the track outside the designated boundaries will result in penalties.
If you cut a corner, do not gain an advantage. You should give back any positions gained or slow down to avoid an unfair advantage.
Overtaking must be done cleanly. Always give racing room (at least one car width) to the car you're passing. If the overtaking car is faster, let them pass without making unnecessary moves.
Brake zones can be tight, so avoid diving into corners when it’s too late. Attempting to overtake in these conditions should be done with caution, and you should not expect the other driver to move out of the way.
If you're being overtaken, be predictable and do not block. Always try to keep the racing line but allow faster drivers to pass safely.
Formation lap: Stay in your position and keep a safe distance from the car ahead. Avoid sudden braking or accelerating.
Race start: Once the green flag is waved, you may accelerate. However, avoid swerving or causing accidents at the start.
If you cause an incident, you are responsible for any resulting damage or position losses. If you're involved in a race incident, make sure to give the position back to the affected driver if you gained an advantage.
Rejoining the track after a spin or accident should be done carefully. Don’t re-enter the track in an unsafe manner, cutting across the racing line, or causing further accidents.
Pit entry and exit: When entering or exiting the pit lane, do so carefully. Don’t cut the pit entry or exit lines. Stay aware of cars entering or exiting around you.
Be cautious when merging after a pit stop to avoid contact with drivers already on the track.
Trolling, intentionally causing chaos, or intentionally wrecking other drivers will result in a warning or ban from future races.
Rage quitting is not acceptable. If you must leave the race early, please do so respectfully.
Adapt to the weather and track conditions. Wet conditions, track rubbering, or temperature changes require careful tire management and driving adjustments.
If conditions change, adjust your racing strategy, tire choice, and driving style accordingly. Don’t drive beyond your skill level in challenging conditions.
Penalties will be applied for rule violations such as corner cutting, reckless driving, or intentional contact. Penalties can range from time penalties to disqualification.
If you feel a penalty is unfair, you can appeal it through the race admins. Make sure to provide evidence to support your case (e.g., video footage or race logs).
Sportsmanship is key to a successful community. Respect the rules, be patient with others, and encourage fellow drivers.
If you are racing in a league or special event, follow any additional event-specific rules provided by the organizers.
By adhering to these rules, we aim to provide a competitive, enjoyable, and fair racing environment for everyone in the Assetto Corsa Competizione community. Let’s race clean, have fun, and foster good sportsmanship in all our events!
