SimPlay Motorsport is a clean racing league and we want to ensure that all our competitors have a fun and enjoyable experience. With this in mind, a series of rules have been designed based upon a common-sense approach to racing, real life racing rules and the experience of running a busy league. All drivers are to ensure they read and understand the rules prior to signing up to any of our events.

SimPlay Motorsport Discord - It is on here where you will find all of the Rules, Sign up forms, event specific details and server passwords. All skill levels are encouraged to sign up as we all learn from each other and work towards being better drivers.
General League Summary: If you have raced with us before, please sign up to the league you normally race in, i.e PRO (Thursdays) or PROAM (Wednesdays) unless an admin member has told you otherwise. If you are new to SimPlay Motorsport's GT3 seasons, then you must sign up to the discord and complete the Hotstint. You will then be told which league to sign up to, if you have already signed up and it is deemed the wrong one, you may be moved to the other league depending on your pace and hotstint. You will be told if this is done.
GT3 League Format: The season will consist of 12 weekly events consisting of a sprint race and a feature race. The event server will go online at 19:10 UK time on each event day, and consist of the following sessions unless otherwise specified:
- 60 minute Practice Session 1 (50 minutes for the first event).
- 10 minute Qualifying Session 1 (for event 1 only, grid for event 2 onwards will be reverse championship order).
- 20 minute Race 1 - Sprint (Mandatory pitstop required, fuel fixed time 25 seconds), (tyre change optional).
- 10 minute Practice Session 2.
- 15 minute Qualifying Session 2.
- 60 minute Race 2 - Feature (Mandatory pitstop required, fuel fixed time 25 seconds), (tyre change optional).
Mandatory Pitstop: A Mandatory pitstop is required in both races. The pit window is 10 minutes long and the pitstop MUST be conducted within that window. Tyre change is optional, fuel is fixed time of 25 seconds. (NOTE: Drivers are limited to just 10 sets of tyres for the whole event listed above, including practice sessions).
Weather: We run a âliveâ weather season. The weather for the next event is locked in and posted on discord in the weather channel on completion of the PRO event on Thursdays. This will then remain the same for all leagues until the end of the next PRO event and will be set in the practice server at all times for testing in between each event.
Racing Standards And Stewarding: We operate a ticket submission policy on our discord for any incidents. Drivers are to use this to raise an incident to the stewards attention for investigation following any event incident AND NOT complain on the other discord channels!
