Weather

Weather will be announced a minimum of 3 days before race day and will be as close to real life as possible. We will use AccuWeather to set the in game weather.

Qualifying Rules:

1. Session Duration: The qualifying session will last for 20 minutes.

2. Class Specific Timing:

- Each class will have a dedicated 10 minute window within the 20-minute session to set their fastest laps.

    - GT3 Class: 20:00 -> 10:00

    - GT4 Class: 10:00 -> 00:00

3. Track Limits: Exceeding track limits will result in lap invalidation. Ensure all four wheels remain within the track boundaries.

4. : Track Etiquette: No overtaking through qualifying. Create a gap of around 5 or more seconds to the car ahead. If you have invalidated your lap or are on an outlap/inlap and a faster car is approaching allow them through and do not hinder them.

5. Pit Lane Etiquette: Observe pit lane speed limits and follow proper entry and exit protocols all drivers must stay within the pit in and pit out white lines to avoid penalties.

Car Classes:

- GT3 Cars - BoP Applied

- Splits: GT3 drivers will be asked to complete a hotstint and will then be sorted into PRO or AM on a race pace based evaluation. Details are in the #hotstint submission channel in our discord. Once completed you will be given either your PRO or AM licence

  - Characteristics: High-performance, aerodynamically advanced, and equipped with powerful engines.

  - Behavior on Circuit: GT3 cars are typically faster and more agile, making them capable of quicker lap times and more aggressive cornering. They have advanced braking systems and superior grip.

  - Driver Expectations: GT3 drivers should be mindful of slower classes, especially during overtakes, and utilize their superior speed without endangering other drivers.

- GT4 Cars -

- Characteristics: Slightly less powerful than GT3, with less downforce and more emphasis on mechanical grip.

  - Behavior on Circuit: GT4 cars are slower in terms of outright speed but provide close and competitive racing. They have less downforce, requiring more skill to manage through corners.

  - Driver Expectations: GT4 drivers should maintain consistent lines and be aware of faster GT3 cars approaching, allowing safe overtakes.

Stewarding:

1. Incident Reporting: Drivers can report incidents by opening a ticket on the designated Discord channel.

2. **Penalties:** Stewards have the authority to impose penalties for infractions, which may include but are not limited to:

   - Time penalties

   - Disqualification for severe breaches of conduct
