As copy of all FRL rules can be found within the discord server for you to browse. All drivers should glance through from time to time as it’s an evolving document but for new drivers, it is recommended reading them all but rules that frequently catch new drivers out usually relate to:
All drivers in FRL events MUST hold a FRL licence. This can be obtained via the FRL discord server but usually involves submitting lap times on a hot-stint and your stats page showing your times on your top 10 most driven tracks. You cannot fail and are guaranteed a licence once completed.
The winning team will be announced on stream. This is of course pending any stewards investigations. The official result will be announced via the FRL discord, FRL Instagram & SimGrid within 96 hours of race finishing.
All stewarding will be carried out on Discord via a ticketing system. All tickets must be submitted with relevant footage within 24h of race finishing to be considered valid. Appeals must be lodged within 12h of verdict being delivered and supporting evidence within 24h of verdict being delivered. All appeals are final.
FRL will not tolerate bullying, harassment or discrimination at any level. We also except drivers to conduct themselves in a friendly, polite, positive and constructive manner on discord. Please do not give out advice to other drivers unless they have asked.
We expect all drivers to read the race briefing via discord and be enthusiastically participate in any post race incident tickets
Participating in public discord chats of course is optional but highly recommended. Meet and discuss the race before during and after with other like minded sim racing enthusiasts.
